Hi everyone, I’ve come to do two things today… 1. To share a project I recently worked on for a friend/ amazing artist that relates to the second thing which is 2 say farewell to the IbR supporters!
I started Illustrated by Ramone back in 2020 from a place of excitement when I finally became aquatinted with the Pen Tool on Adobe Illustrator after countless times of trying.
With no real set plan in motion I kicked off IbR solely driven by my love for creating and story telling! I’m a big advocate for showcasing the smaller details in life which is why I really took to vectorised Art because the possibilities can be endless.
Come lockdown things took a turn for the worst for most of us, life really changed. My services weren’t really needed at the time which lead to me taking an opportunistic approach to business by selling face masks as they were required at the time with matching phone cases. Truthfully that venture didn’t go to plan and ultimately lead me into a state of depression - I was in a pretty rubbish place for a few months but what got me out of it was a new found purpose. Gratitude.
I started to see view life differently, from a new lens… I made peace with the fact that sometimes things just aren’t meant to be because there’s a greater plan at play.
I guess from a place of Ego we don’t want to give up on things because we really want it to work and/ or we don’t want to be labelled a failure. To that, I’d say there’s nothing wrong with failing - see it as a lesson learn to and keep it moving!
In summary, I’d like to thank everyone whose ever used my illustration design services! Every purchase, share, comment and like was and still is much appreciated!
Although this chapter’s come to a close for a new one is on the cards! I’d like to invite you all to join me on my new journey in which will feature my illustration work, graphic designs and much more cc: 🙌🏾 see you on the other side
