This weeks beach visit was to Broadstairs, joss bay, kings gate bay and botany bay. Great sand, during low tide walked all around cost from broadstairs to botany bay and back again, lots of rock pools, caves, coves and things to find, chase and “roll in”. Beach score 4. Great pub on Botany Bay. Well needed drink.

Day 3 highlights. Coombe Martin at low tide. Lovely walk through the rock pools and the beach. Nessa beach score: rock pools 5. BEach 3. Local shops 10 (got free meat from the butcher’s. Free baked dog treats from the bakers and a belly rub from the fish and chip shop. Want to go back to the shops.

Day 2. A day at Brauton Burrows and Saunton Sands. I walked so far I broke my tracker, oh well, giving Ernie a chance to catch up. Anyway. Nessa beach rating 5 stars for the burrows and the beach.

Last weeks beach on a Wednesday was a lovely trip to Leigh on Sea, not the largest beach, tide was in, but a lovely sandy run under the sailing club and it was very warm. Nessa beach score 3/5.
