May felt like a month of bank holidays, half term, school runs, client calls, project deadlines, and constantly adjusting plans.

The reality of running a business as a mum isn’t always perfectly planned days and uninterrupted work hours.

Sometimes it’s fitting work around family life.
Sometimes it’s working in shorter pockets of time.
And sometimes it’s relying on the systems you’ve built to keep things moving.

Despite the interruptions, this month was full of website projects, email marketing setups, automations, funnels, and supporting clients behind the scenes.

A reminder that progress doesn’t always look perfect.

Sometimes it looks like showing up consistently, adapting when needed, and continuing to move things forward.

Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come from simplifying, not adding more.

May reminded me that growth isn’t always about doing more.

It’s about focusing on the things that actually move your business forward.

For me, that looked like:

✨ Slowing down
✨ Consistency beats perfection every time
✨ Using systems and automation to save time
✨ A good conversation with another business owner
✨ Letting go of the pressure to be everywhere at once

So honoured to be part of She Awards, a space that truly celebrates women, their journeys, and the work they’re building with so much heart.

This journey hasn’t been easy. There have been moments of doubt, confusion, and figuring things out behind the scenes… times where things felt slow, uncertain, or overwhelming. But I kept going because I knew why I started.

AP Business Solutions was built with one clear mission: to simplify tech for women business owners and make it feel accessible, not intimidating. Because I’ve seen how overwhelming it can feel, and I wanted to change that.

Today, I’m proud to say this work has been recognised, and AP Business Solutions is now an award-winning business.

Being surrounded by so many inspiring women, each with their own powerful journeys, was a reminder that every story comes with its own struggles and that’s what makes it meaningful.

Behind the scenes of March (I know it’s been a while since it was March but better late than never 😅)

March was all about building systems that feel simple, clear, and actually support the business behind them.

✨ Setting up a social media agency owner launch her masterclasses and email marketing systems from welcome sequences to structured nurture flows
✨ Building automated workflows for a Intuitive energy coach for smoother client onboarding and funnels so things run smoothly in the background
✨ Client onboarding systems making the journey feel seamless from the first interaction
✨ Ongoing tech support and strategy simplifying what feels overwhelming
✨ Setting up a conversion focused, responsive and aesthetic website for a bespoke crystal jewellery designer
