Long-term position in a successful London startup with a great team. 7h per day with tracker = full-time & remote. Maybe you or anybody you know interested. Earn €500 for a successful referral.
The startup has got multiple rounds of investment and has nicely structured, commented, and documented Django codebase. In the team, there is a great UX designer and 2 front-end developers in team + another great senior top level Python/Django dev working remotely from Romania (rest of the team in London). You will be taking from the to-do list tasks and completing them in the back-end. You'll be joining a hard-working successful and very friendly team.
# # Requirements
Can show off some exciting pieces of Python/Django code that you have written and explain why this piece of code is worth looking at.
Great spoken and written English is a must
Experience in managing a platforms Architecture
Hands-on experience with Python, Django, Git, Docker, and AWS. If you will be shortlisted then you'll be asked to take a quick 10min Python/Django test so please do not waste your and our time if you are actually not at least a mid/senior-level Python/Django developer. Preferably senior.
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, and CSS)
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Knowledge of DevOps practices
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
# # Responsibilities
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
Write clean code to develop functional web applications
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Perform UI tests to optimize performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Gather and address technical and design requirements
Provide training and support to internal teams
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
A passion for building and supporting engineering teams including recruitment, coaching, and mentoring.
Comfortable with balancing the long and short-term delivery needs of the business
Building reliable and scalable platforms for our customers
Have expert knowledge of software engineering and delivery principles, and be able to demonstrate that you’ve used these in a commercial setting
Follow emerging technologies
You’d be joining a team that focuses on agility at its core. You’ll find it easiest to understand the way we work if you’ve worked using Agile delivery methods in the past, but it’s not mandatory. We also have regular knowledge sharing sessions, hack days, team building days and so much more.
