We're proud to share that our documentary, Fix Me In The Mix, has received an Honourable Mention at Bright Rocks Festival.
The film follows my father, Mat Sargent, a musician who, after an HIV diagnosis and a devastating prognosis, channelled fear and uncertainty into a creative project that brought together more than 200 musicians in a stand against stigma.
Built from over 170 hours of archival footage spanning two decades, the film follows his determination to complete this ambitious undertaking, uniting artists across generations and genres. The songs reflect the time, experiences, and emotional landscape in which they were created, formed through a collaborative process rooted in lived experience and resilience.
Thank you to Bright Rocks Festival for recognising the film and including it in this year's digital programme.
This is the first step in our festival journey, and we're looking forward to sharing more news soon.
