It's true.

You can spend hours curating hashtag collections, pouring over data, and tweaking your strategy, but sometimes a good ol' meme is all you need to boost engagement.

Does that mean you should flood your account with memes? No.

Does it mean you should ignore hashtags? No.

You need to realise that there are many different strategies and tactics you can employ to boost your reach.

Entertaining your audience and giving people a laugh is often just as valuable as a highly educational carousel.

The trick is in finding balance.

If you're all business, always selling, and consciously curating every post, remind yourself to have a little fun.

Conversely, if you're trying to run a business and your content is 99% memes and 1% education, remember that not many people invest in clowns.
