The whole transformation starts from looking at current tender response generation, current bid team structure competencies, sales governance procedures. I then gradually move to implement sales pipeline priorities, organisational sales competency development, business development integration and intelligence management with operations, designing and managing key accounts, commercial and transition/delivery mechanisms, bid office infrastructure and collaboration tools, bid knowledge management and review mechanisms, CRM systems and quantitative metric based bid performance management. I set up key measures and mentor team members to continuously monitor and improve the metrics and bid lifecycle structure. I also structure internal 'incumbator' teams to design and implement innovative solutions/products to be used in bids.
