I am now supporting healthcare trusts, local government bodies, commercial business and charities in restructuring, strategy, growth optimisation, business winning, transformation, bid management and sales operations initiatives by taking consultancy assignments on bid/commercial strategy, competitor/market intelligence, due diligence of sales pipeline, sales resource and budget management, designing and implementing innovative solutions, evaluation of bid management process and proposal review. The whole transformation starts from looking at current tender response generation, current bid team structure competencies, sales governance procedures. I then gradually move to implement sales pipeline priorities, organisational sales competency development, business development integration and intelligence management with operations, designing and managing key accounts, commercial and transition/delivery mechanisms, bid office infrastructure and collaboration tools, bid knowledge management and review mechanisms, CRM systems and quantitative metric based bid performance management. I set up key measures and mentor team members to continuously monitor and improve the metrics and bid lifecycle structure. I also structure internal 'incumbator' teams to design and implement innovative solutions/products to be used in bids.
