The science behind DuoBell.

We worked with University of Salford acousticians to find the exact frequency gap ANC headphones consistently fail to cancel, then engineered a mechanical bell to strike inside it — refined over two weeks of real-world testing with Deliveroo riders.

Up to half of London’s pedestrians walk around in noise-cancelling headphones. Most bike bells can’t get through.

For Škoda Auto Official, we designed and fabricated DuoBell — a fully mechanical bell built to strike inside the one frequency band ANC algorithms consistently fail to cancel.

Developed with acoustics research from the University of Salford, trialled on London streets with Deliveroo riders.
