Today is my birthday :)

And I know a lot of you will agree with me that, as birthdays come and go as you get older, those birthdays seem to mean less.

Especially with kids - everything is aimed at them.

Truthfully, this year, I didn't want to celebrate.

Even more truthfully, I felt I didn't deserve it this year.

Whilst there have been amazing things over the last year that are worth celebrating, we definitely pivoted at the end of 2025. And as with everything, not all of it went to plan.

In 2025 I celebrated speaking on more stages than ever before.

Including my first speaking gigs outside of the UK/Ireland as I debuted in the USA and India, with more coming very soon (which I will let you know about shortly!).

I always see my birthday as the end of one business year anyway - our company was founded in May, so April always felt like the "planning" month.

But I was in a bad place at the start of this year, and I don't mind saying it.

Business ownership can be a lonely place at times, despite having amazing people around me.

"Pressure is a privilege" was a sentence that rung true recently.

So, as the talk of "birthday" started a few weeks ago, I didn't feel like I wanted to acknowledge it at all.

In reality, I expected that to continue into this week.

But something shifted last week.

My mindset realigned with where it should be.

That "voice" telling me I wasn't good enough, I wasn't worthy of any celebration, was silenced for a while. And clarity shone through.

I remembered 2 things:

1. I am really good at what I do, and have helped countless businesses to see their customer journey completely differently.

2. Mindset is everything. Working on how I view a problem is half the battle to solving the problem itself.

These things I can focus on.

So, not long after we were talking birthday, I relaunched my in-person training days.

These days are a lot of effort to put on. They cost a decent amount as we don't have a physical premises.

They take time, and energy. Time because I live in Armagh and the days are usually better hosted in mainland UK, and energy because I give my all to training that entire day.

But the response has been incredible.

Within a matter of days, 85% of the spaces on the first date were reserved. At the time of writing this email, I have 3 spaces left for the first date.

A real reminder of why I do this - to help businesses grow at scale with WhatsApp.

It prompted us to launch 2 more dates, in 2 more cities. You'll now see us in Birmingham, London and Manchester in the next 4 months.

I could focus on the challenges, or I could see the positives. The positives that we only have 3 spaces left for Birmingham. The positive that 25% of tickets are reserved for London despite us not promoting it yet!

And whilst I don't always get it right, I know that the positive way of looking at it, is always going to be the best way to progress.

Are you still stuck doing the heavy lifting in your business?

A lot of business owners underestimate the power of sales automation. Imagine automating your lead generation, personalising your follow-ups, and freeing up hours each week! It's not just about working harder; it's about working smarter.

The truth is, your customers don’t care about your busywork—they want seamless, personalised experiences.

🔑 Streamline your processes.
🔑 Focus on what truly matters: your clients.
🔑 Make room for strategic growth.

“Sales is not about selling anymore, but about building trust and educating.” (Chapter 3)

Is your business getting the attention it deserves, or are you still shouting into the void?

Many entrepreneurs pour their hearts and souls into their work, but forget one crucial thing: **your customers don’t care about your business—only about how you can solve their problems.**

Focus on their pain points, and you’ll turn that frustration into engagement.

🔑 Key takeaway: It’s not about you. It’s about them.

“Successful businesses thrive on the clarity of their customer’s needs.” (Chapter 4)

Are you tired of pouring money into marketing that doesn’t move the needle?

Look, your customers want simple solutions, not complicated sales pitches. A lot of businesses forget this and drown their audience in fluff. Remember: clarity trumps complexity every time.

What if you streamlined your message and focused solely on the problems you can solve?

đź’ˇ Simplify. Serve. Sell.

"In a world where customers are bombarded with choices, your only weapon is the value you bring."

Ever felt like shouting into a void? Your business isn’t just another face in the crowd, so why treat it like one?

A lot of companies stumble because they think selling is all about the product. It’s not. It's about how you connect, how you communicate, and how you make the customer feel. Automate the tedious stuff, but never automate the heart.

Here's the truth: simplify your processes, amplify your message. The right automation can transform your customer journey from a chore into a choice they want to make.

🚀 Cut the fluff, focus on connections. Your customers crave authenticity.

"People don't care about your business; they care about what your business can do for them."

Make it count.

Feeling overwhelmed by the sales grind? You’re not alone. Many business owners get trapped in their own processes—over-automating and losing the personal touch that keeps customers coming back.

Imagine if your sales pipeline flowed smoothly, with each customer feeling valued and understood. You'd boost engagement, enhance relationships, and drive sales like never before.

Remember, automation isn’t about replacing humans; it’s about empowering them. Keep your process streamlined, but make sure your customers still feel the ❤️.

🔹 Integrate tools seamlessly
🔹 Prioritise data quality
🔹 Never lose that personal touch

“Most businesses leap into automation without considering the mess they’re creating.” (Chapter 2)

Feeling swamped by endless tasks when all you really want is to boost sales? Let’s be real: most businesses drown in the day-to-day grind while forgetting the big picture.

Imagine if your sales team could focus purely on building relationships instead of getting lost in admin chaos. That’s where automation comes in—but it can be a double-edged sword. Get it wrong, and you risk losing that personal touch with your clients.

Remember, efficiency shouldn’t come at the cost of customer connection. Automation should empower, not overwhelm. Find the balance.

⚡ Key takeaway: Don’t sacrifice the human element. Automate smartly!

“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” (Chapter 2)

Feeling like you’re throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks with your sales? 🍝

Many businesses scramble to engage customers without a clue about their journey. It’s time to stop guessing and start automating! Imagine if every interaction felt personal and timely — you'd connect deeper, closing deals with ease.

Remember: Your customer’s journey isn’t just a series of steps; it’s a tailored experience. Get it right, and watch your sales soar.

🔹 Define their path.
🔹 Automate your follow-ups.
🔹 Personalise every touchpoint.

“Your customer doesn’t care about your product; they care about their experience.” (Chapter 2)
