Have two words ever filled you with as much premature boredom as keyword research? Maybe "lockdown extended" (hopefully not!).
Anyway, keyword research not only forms a basis for the words you should be including in your copy, but it can also be a basis for hashtag research. It really is woth doing.
Here is how to get started...
🍩 Identify a combination of words and phrases you intuitively think people search when looking for your product or service (and ask people what they would search for).
🍩 Type this into a search engine and see what alternatives come up.
🍩 Identify what other words or phrases competitors target by looking at their search engne listings.
🍩 You can also use a tool like SEMrush or Google Keyword Planner to check search volumes.
🍩 Make sure to focus most of your efforts on ranking high for niche searches.
E.g. If you are a doughnut seller, trying to get to the top of Google, Pinterest or Instagram with "Doughnut" is nigh-on impossible. But "Small batch doughnuts UK" / is much more likely.
Mmmmmm doughnuts.
As always, drop a comment or DM if you have any questions.
