Hey 💜
It’s been a little while, hasn’t it? Life’s been… life-ing. Between juggling projects, trying to stay inspired, and fighting off a bit of self-doubt, I had to take a step back for a moment.
But I’m so happy to say… I’m back! And not just back — I’m coming back with purpose. 🙌🏾
📚✨ On Sunday 19th October 2025, I’ll be vending at the Black British Book Festival at the Barbican Centre — the biggest celebration of Black British literature in Europe!
We know life isn’t easy for everyone right now, so while the main festival tickets remain just £15, there’s also a completely free programme running all day.
This festival means the world to me because representation has always been at the heart of why I started Fefus Designs. I grew up not seeing myself reflected in the everyday things — cards, gifts, even the stories I loved. So now, I create the things I wish I had growing up — colourful, joyful products that remind children (and adults!) that they belong. 💛
And I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate that than at a festival that’s all about Black voices, stories, and creativity.
Even better — this year’s event includes a completely FREE programme with live performances, workshops, a buzzing marketplace, and so much more.
✨ No ticket. No booking. No barriers.
Just come through, soak up the vibes, and show love to Black creatives doing amazing things.
I’ll be there with:
📚 Our Reader’s Merch — perfect for book lovers and storytime sessions.
🎨 Our full range of Fefus favourites — cards, stickers, gifts, and keepsakes that celebrate representation with joy.
Come say hi, shop your faves, and let’s make this day one to remember. 💛
