BYD just confirmed 200 Flash Charging stations in the UK by the end of 2026.
The fastest chargers on UK motorways right now top out at 350kW. BYD’s Flash Chargers deliver 1,500kW. That’s four times faster.

On 1 April 2026, OZEV increased the maximum EV charger grant from £350 to £500. That's a 43% jump overnight. But three grants also closed on the same date — and most articles online haven't updated yet.
