🇦🇷 Last week I had the great pleasure and privilege of supporting and .argentina in their Trade Mission to the UK. A packed week full of events in London and Manchester showcasing the very best in luxury travel, wine and fine dining, culminating in an incredible dinner at the Argentine Embassy, home to the newly appointed and hugely inspiring ambassador, Mariana Plaza.

🍷 Chef Gonzalo Aramburu travelled over from Buenos Aires and his two Michelin starred restaurant to whip up the most delicious meal, washed down with world renowned wines from

Incredible support from the UK media. A big thank you to everyone who joined and to all involved including partner in crime .argentina

Today marks the start of a new month and feels like the perfect time to not only reflect on The Aloha Collective’s first ever press event that took place last week but to look ahead to International Women’s Day that will be celebrated very soon.
 
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The Sloane Club on the 22nd Feb. It was a great opportunity to share news for the year ahead from my wonderful clients including - lots of interesting chats, ideas and plans in the making.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces plus many new ones and to have the opportunity to come together with - old colleagues and more importantly brilliant friends. Entrepreneurial women who are leaders in their field. Creative and talented and who I am lucky enough to work alongside in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Thank you also to those brands who generously contributed to the ‘Swag Bags’ a big hit and hugely appreciated.

‘The Aloha Collective’ was founded in February 2023 by a group of independent travel PRs as a means of supporting and empowering one another. For Hawaiian people, ‘Aloha’ is not just a word but a way of life that defines togetherness and warm greetings. It also conjures up thoughts of tropical faraway places and it is with this united spirit that The Aloha Collective was born.

Comprising four former colleagues and long-time friends, The Aloha Collective is Kathryn Peel (Peel+Williams), Lallie Fraser (Polka Dot Elephant), Nadia Walford (Nadia Walford PR) and Charlotte Rous (Charlotte Rous Communications). Each runs their own PR company representing international clients with some of the most well-respected luxury and boutique travel, wellness, design, and lifestyle brands across the globe on their books.

The Aloha Collective is a female-founded collective bringing together the best of industry knowledge. It also provides a platform to be a sounding board and support network for one another, shouldering the pressures of being solo business leaders in the fast-paced and ever evolving world of communications.
