Everything Meta keeps taking off your plate this year, the targeting, the bid controls, the audience settings, has a pattern. They're all the levers that never moved much anyway.

That means the only lever you've got any real impact over is the Creative (and it's also the one that makes the biggest difference).

So the whole game now is simple to say and hard to do: put a genuinely good ad in front of the algorithm. Not thirty tinted copies of a dull one. A real one, that a person would actually choose to watch.

That's the reason Brian exists. He's our AI Comedy Marketing Machine, built to write ads the way our writers' room does: an angle, a hook, and jokes that carry the sell instead of decorating it. First creatives ready in about fifteen minutes.

Try him on your next campaign and see the results for yourself.

It has begun. The first "when do you start BFCM prep" threads have appeared, which means Q4 is officially close enough to panic about.

Everyone's about to do the same three things: raise budgets, tighten targeting, and refresh last year's ad into a slightly newer version of itself. Then they'll all pile into the same auction on the same weekend and act surprised when clicks cost double.

Here is what November does. It doesn't just add competition, it adds a surcharge on being boring. When every advertiser is bidding hard, the dull ad pays the steepest premium of the year to reach a feed that wanted entertaining in the first place.

So the smart prep isn't a fresh coat on last year's creative. It's a funnier one, built now, while it still feels early. The brand people want to see in December is the one that sorted that in September.

Brian, our AI Comedy Marketing Machine, writes the funny, high-converting stuff on demand, so you walk into Q4 with ads worth watching instead of a reheated packshot. $7 gets you a month. Link in bio.

"I don't need a 4.5x ROAS. I need these ads to stop losing money."

A business owner said that to me last week and it's the sanest thing I've heard about paid ads all year.

You don't need everything to go right. You need one lever to move. Cheaper clicks. A higher click-through. A few more buyers once they land. A couple of quid more on the average order. Nudge one and a losing account crawls to break-even. Nudge a few at once and the maths starts working for you instead of against you.

Here's the trick most people walk straight past: funny moves all of them at the same time. An ad people enjoy earns cheaper reach, more clicks, warmer traffic and better recall, off the same budget. That's not four projects. It's one lever bolted to all four.

The catch is that funny-that-actually-sells is hard to make at 4pm on a Tuesday with a tired account and a blank cursor.

Which is the whole reason Brian exists. He's our AI Comedy Marketing Machine: he works out what your audience finds funny and builds brand-safe comedy ads that carry the sell, so the one lever nobody's pulling finally gets pulled.

Scrolling r/PPC this week, we found a confession worth framing.

An agency had a B2B client with one Google Ads campaign that looked untouchable. Strong ROAS, healthy volume, the slide everyone pointed at on the monthly call. One problem: revenue had been flat for two quarters while that campaign's spend crept up 40%. Both of those couldn't be true.

So they did the thing nobody does. They paused it. Four whole weeks, agreed with the client in writing.

Revenue didn't drop. Neither did enquiries. The "best" campaign had been taking credit for sales that were happening anyway.

That's the trouble with last click: it doesn't ask what an ad changed, only where it was standing when the sale landed.

If pausing it changes nothing, it was never working.

Are you SURE your Ads are delivering the results they claim?

Getting into the feed is exactly like getting into a New York Club in the 90s.

A certain kind of clientele get to stroll right past the rope - and it makes the rest of us disgustingly jealous.

The bouncer waves them in for free, because they're the kind of people the owner wants in the club. (Ouch).

Everyone else queues. And pays full price.

And since the Andromeda update, "Regular Joes" (aka Boring Ads) are paying an even higher cover charge than ever before - paid in Sky-High CPMs.

Boring ads, bigger cover.

You can keep paying to force a dull ad in front of people who don't want it.

Or you can make your Ads the ones they actually want to see. The ones they welcome in gladly. The ones that skip the queue and stroll right on in.

The choice is yours.

Since Meta's Andromeda update there's a tax on boring ads.

Nobody sends you the bill - but you'll find it hidden inside your CPMs.

Ads your audience don't want in their feed cost more to run.

(So they're more expensive, AND less effective? Ouch).

But you're a business owner, not a stand-up comedian - and writing Jokes That Sell isn't easy.

That's why we built Brian - the world's only (genuinely) funny AI Marketer.

Try him out on your Ads for just $7 today.

Half of Reddit this morning seems to be asking: "is Meta cooked??"

They're asking, because they're struggling - again - to make their Ads work.

Meta's fine.

Meta's having its best year yet, mostly on your money.

Here's the actual headline:

Your ad is boring, so your ideal customer flicked it away like a bit of lint, and the auction has started charging you more (and more) per impression... for the privilege of being ignored.

The ads getting affordable reach from high-intent buyers are the ones those buyers are *happy* to see in their feed.

Like the High-Converting Comedy Ads Brian generates for you.

Do I run ABO or CBO? Cost Cap or Bid Cap? Do I run my tests using the Hypnogogic Verification method? Or is it better to assess tCPA against tROAS via the Parmagianno Algorithm?

Does your head hurt?

Yeah - mine too.

EVEN If the all those Gurus weren't full of BS...

EVEN If they weren't just selling you what worked in 2024 and packing it up as if it works right now...

You could follow every single rule they give you, and still run Ads that your ideal customer scrolls right past without even blinking.

Because Since Andromeda, Meta charges extra for boring.

Doesn't matter how you structure your campaigns...
..GIve people Boring Ads they don't want in their feed? You pay more for less reach, every time.

The actual fix is way simpler than the Gurus would have you to believe: make an ad people want in their feed.

(Or - just let Brian do it for you).

He's the world's only genuinely funny marketer - and right now you can try him out for 30 days for just $7.
