I have made $15.30 from affiliate marketing.
Not $15,300. Fifteen dollars and change, from two people, over about seven months.
I am putting that on record today because I am starting a fourteen-day test, and I would rather publish the starting line now than be accused of tidying it up afterwards.
Here is what the dashboard actually says. 1,150 clicks. I was quietly pleased with that number until I looked at the IP addresses behind it. Most of them belong to Facebook's link-preview crawler, which fires automatically every time a link gets posted anywhere. A chunk of the rest were me, checking my own page.
Five real people opted in. Two of them bought something.
So for the next fortnight I am running real traffic at it, tracking every channel separately, and publishing the result whether it is good or embarrassing. If it works I will show you exactly what I did. If it does not, I will show you that too.
Screenshot below, unedited apart from two email addresses I have blacked out.
Anyone else keeping honest numbers, or is it just me?
