I’ve just finished a small internal review of how I actually use AI in NetSwifter work.

Not because NetSwifter is becoming an “AI company”. It isn’t.

AI is simply one of the tools I use for things like website analysis, Search Console data, SEO, coding assistance, content development and quality checks.

The new EU AI Act transparency rules gave me a good reason to look at the process properly and ask a few practical questions:

* Do AI-assisted articles need to be labelled?
* What about realistic AI-generated images?
* How should client data be handled?
* Does AI-assisted code create new obligations?
* Where should human review remain non-negotiable?

The conclusion was quite simple:

**Human-led, AI-assisted.**
**Minimum necessary data.**
**Never fabricate evidence.**

I’ve written up what I learned, including the changes I made to the way NetSwifter handles content, images and client work:

https://netswifter.com/ai-generated-content-eu-ai-act/

I also published a short **NetSwifter AI Policy** explaining our approach:

The interesting part for me wasn’t finding reasons to use less AI.

It was defining where AI genuinely improves the work, where it needs tighter controls, and where professional judgement still has to lead.

Does an underperforming business website need a redesign, SEO or simply better content?

The frustrating answer is: it depends on what is actually going wrong.

A dated design may be the problem, but it may only be the most visible symptom. Sometimes the website already gets traffic but does not clearly explain the offer. Sometimes the content is good, but nobody finds it. In other cases, visitors understand the service but do not see enough reason to trust the company or make contact.

I have written a practical article on how to separate these problems and set the right priorities before investing in more website work.

It also explains why most websites do not need a single isolated solution but a sensible sequence of improvements.

Most business websites don’t fail because of bad design.

They fail because nothing happens after launch.

I’ve worked with many companies that invested properly in their website — only to leave it untouched for years.

No updates.
No structured SEO.
No performance checks.
No alignment with what customers are actually asking.

Over time, the website becomes neutral.
And neutrality is not good for business.

I wrote a new blog post about:

– Why websites lose value after launch
– What does that really cost your business
– And how to turn your website into a long-term growth asset

If your site has been “live and quiet” for a while, this might be useful.

Do established businesses still need a website in 2026 if they don’t sell online?

I get this question surprisingly often — so I decided to answer it properly in a new blog post on NetSwifter.

This isn’t about e-commerce or chasing traffic.
It’s about trust, first impressions, and how people decide whether to contact a company today.
