Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Volunteer Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about veganism, animal rights and activism and possesses a diverse skill set in digital marketing, social media management, and public relations. As a key player in our marketing efforts, you will help enhance our online presence, engage with our community, and promote our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
Maintain and update our WordPress website with fresh content, ensuring optimal user experience.
Implement SEO best practices to increase organic search visibility and traffic.
Social Media:
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Grow and interact with our online community.
Public Relations:
Assist in crafting and distributing press releases and media pitches.
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers within the vegan community.
Marketing Campaigns:
Support the planning and ex*****on of marketing campaigns and projects.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics.
Content Creation:
Contribute to blog posts, newsletters, and other digital content that aligns with our mission and marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
Experience with WordPress, including content management and basic SEO.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
Knowledge of public relations strategies and media outreach.
Familiarity with fundamental marketing principles and project planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and reliably meet deadlines.
Passionate about veganism and committed to our mission.
