Tuesday Sales Tips
If you're in the UK, you can't have failed to notice what a beautiful spring we are having. After a dreary January and February and March, wow it is wonderful to see the sun (this was photo was taken on a trip to London a couple of weeks ago).
And what do gardeners do in Spring?
The sow, they nurture, they carefully watch their baby plants. Not because they expect results today or tomorrow, but because they are planning for the future.
Your sales pipeline is like that.
โ
If you don't sow seeds, nothing will grow (prospecting)
โ
If you don't nurture, little plants may fail to develop (that's easy because that's nurturing too)
โ
If you don't watch out for pests, or water during times of drought, plants will die (that's follow up, failing to look after your prospect and preventing competitors gaining a foothold)
And if you do all of that, you will be rewarded with a harvest of flowers, fruit and vegetables (you get the sale)
Sometimes sales is simple. So if you haven't sown anything for a while, maybe now is the time!
Happy Selling!
