I travelled over 7 hours (2 by train + 5 by bus) to do this Women’s Month gig in Chester and honestly…

I would legit run… well, *maybe* walk briskly to any room with this vibe — 110 audience members filling a kitted out theatre with knee-slapping, snort-inducing shrieks of laughter.

This gig will, in the classic words of the Spice Girls, Viva Forever in my core memories. 💜

2025 was a year full of major life changes, but it was less scary because I deepened my connections and celebrated every moment. 💕

Looking forward to even more adventures in 2026! Happy New Year. 🥳

How to post on LinkedIn without being cringe 👇

You don’t need to:

❌ trauma dump
❌ overshare
❌ turn your feed into a public diary

The “happy medium” is simpler than you think.

✨ Start small
✨ Test things out
✨ Share what feels comfortable for you

Post a result.
Share a lesson from work.
Talk about something that worked — then peel the layer back a little.

Vulnerability isn’t all-or-nothing.
It’s a sliding scale.

And here’s the part people forget:

👉 Don’t just test what works for the algorithm.
👉 Test what works for you.

Because if it feels forced, people can tell.
And if it feels real, the algorithm will catch up.

Save this if you’ve been stuck between “too polished” and “too personal.” 💛

Founders, this is the only way you’ll stand out on LinkedIn.

“Value” isn’t just metrics, tips, or hot takes.
It’s you.

Yes — results matter.
Yes — consistency matters.

But what actually cuts through the beige LinkedIn noise?

👉 Stories
👉 POV
👉 Relatable moments
👉 How you think, not just what you know

People don’t follow brands.
They follow people they recognise themselves in.

Memes count.
Relatable content counts.
Personality counts.

Because LinkedIn isn’t just a platform — it’s a two-way street.

You’re not just attracting anyone.
You’re attracting your people.

Save this if you’ve been overthinking “value.” 💛

This is where most founders fail on social media.

Not because they’re bad at content.
Not because they don’t have ideas.

Because they try to do too much, too fast — and burn out. 🔥

If you’re a team of one, consistency doesn’t mean posting every day.
It means posting at a pace you can actually sustain.

✨ Once a week is enough.
✨ Scheduling is not cheating.
✨ Energy comes in waves — plan for that.

Start small. Build momentum. Pace yourself.

Consistency beats intensity every time.

Save this if you needed permission to stop trying to keep up with people who have teams. 💛

Choose your fighter: Brand vs. Lifecycle Marketing 🥊

If you’re a founder with limited time, this question matters more than you think.

Here’s the simplest way to tell the difference (thank you, 👇):

👉 Brand = who you are
Your values, your POV, your personality, your presence.
It’s what makes people recognise you.

👉 Lifecycle marketing = how you communicate that
Emails, flows, nudges, timing, retention.
It’s how people experience you over time.

They work best together — but if you’re early stage?

🧠 Brand comes first. Always.

Because lifecycle can’t amplify what doesn’t exist yet.

Save this if you’ve been trying to “optimize” before you’ve even defined what makes you memorable.

💬 Comment BRAND or LIFECYCLE — which one are you focused on right now?

AI in content marketing: love it? Hate it? Terrified of it?
 ’s answer: “I hate it… but I also use it.” 😂

In our Live Q&A, Katie shared a take that more content marketers need to say out loud:You can use AI — but you need to use it responsibly.

Here’s her approach 👇
✨ She won’t use generative AI to write content✨ But she will use it to distill large amounts of information✨ And she ALWAYS checks everything with human eyes✨ Because misinformation + hallucinations = AI slop that people can spot from miles away + a brand risk nobody needs

The takeaway?AI can save you time. But it should never replace your voice, your judgment, or your ethics.

In short:Use it if you want — but proceed with caution.

If you want to grow your business but have no idea where to start… says the first step is simple:

Get in the room.
Even if it’s awkward.Even if you don’t know anyone.Even if you’re an introvert with a death grip on your tote bag.

Because content, branding, and strategy matter —but the fastest way to grow is by meeting people who are on the same path.

In our Live Q&A session, Katie shared her no-fluff advice for founders + solopreneurs:

✨ Look up industry events✨ Show up — even if it feels scary✨ Find the other sheepish person in the room✨ Say hi (awkwardly is fine!)✨ Let the conversation unfold

It’s not glamorous, but it works.
Your next client, collaborator, or idea could be one “hey… do you know anyone here?” away.

🎥 Catch the full conversation in my FranBrands Q&A series — and stay tuned for the next episode.

What’s the best event you’ve ever gone to for your business?👇

If your “content strategy” is just a list of posts…I’m sorry, but that’s not it, fam. 😬

In my Live Q&A with , we talked about the mistake we see everywhere:ďż˝
Founders (and even baby marketers) confusing a content calendar with an actual content strategy.

A calendar answers:
🗓️ What are we posting and when?

But strategy answers:
✨ Why are we posting this?✨ Who is it for?✨ What’s the goal?✨ What action do we want them to take?

And here’s the kicker —People can feel when you’re posting just to fill space.

But when your content has purpose? It builds trust. It builds consistency. It builds your brand.

Want to hear the full convo? The replay is up now — and the next FranBrands Q&A goes live soon.

Overachieving isn’t a flex — it’s a trauma response.

For years, my worth lived in my to-do list.
If I wasn’t producing, I was spiralling.
If I slowed down, the shame crept in.

This carousel is one of the most honest and difficult things I’ve posted: being “high-performing” was less about excellence than it was about survival.

Living with bipolar disorder and CPTSD, I struggle with feelings of shame and inadequacy. I've lived through several traumatic events from my childhood up to my 30s that I'm still working through today.

I’m trying to heal that now — gently, slowly, honestly. It's not easy. But I want to keep trying.

If you’re an exhausted overachiever pretending you’re fine… I see you. We’re healing now. 💛
