Last day of winter! A season I’m always glad to see the back of. Although we get an extra day in February because it’s a Leap Year.

So, what to do to celebrate Leap Day? Two things I did today, that I don’t normally do. I ordered a flat white instead of my usual latte. It’s a big deal, believe me 😂

And I had my photo taken as part of a client’s photo shoot! I hate being in front of the camera, but it’s never a bad thing to try and push yourself out of your comfort zone. Happy Leap Day 2024.

When you work for yourself, you tend to miss out on Christmas celebrations with colleagues. But one of my longstanding clients invited me along to celebrate with their team, which was really nice. So on Thursday, we headed to Loughborough to board a steam train for Christmas dinner. It was my first experience of dining on a train. I’ve always wanted to ride on the Orient Express or The Ghan. There’s something magical about travelling in style on an old train. It’s on my bucket list, but I’d need to win lotto to afford it 😆

It's time to share another blog I've had the pleasure of writing for Ningaloo Caravan and Holiday Park. The subject this month is stand up paddleboarding and kayaking, and the best spots in Ningaloo to enjoy these watersports. I've tried both, and definitely have a favourite... and it's not kayaking because it was too much like hard work 🤣. But SUP-ing is heaps of fun.
