Both printers are still running at full capacity.

Getting close to 1000 of these printed now.

A pack was delivered to Bridgnorth Hospital on Friday. A pack is being delivered tomorrow to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Eye Department. More and more orders are coming in every day and we will continue to produce these free of charge to NHS and healthcare staff.

Surgical Mask "Ear Savers"

As you may be aware, many of NHS staff have been saying that the surgical masks they are required to wear throughout their shifts are causing considerable discomfort from rubbing behind their ears.

I live in Ludlow and I am 3D printing, what are called, Surgical Mask Ear Savers. It is a plastic band/strap that fits around the back of the head that the elastic from the mask is hooked on relieving the pressure on the ears which makes the masks much more comfortable to wear for long periods.

Healthcare professionals in the UK and all around the world are using these aids that people have printed at home. The comments have been amazing and NHS staff are very pleased with them so I’ve decided to make them too.

They are easily cleaned using disinfectant or even hand sanitizer as required. They can also just be disposed of at the end of their shift, whichever is appropriate.

These are Free Of Charge to all NHS staff, care workers, etc....

Well that's over 100 of the ear savers dropped off to Ludlow Hospital 👍 they were very grateful. Both printers are still working flat out to print more so to everyone who has messaged me. Don't worry I haven't forgotten about you. I will start messaging you tomorrow afternoon when I've got more ready 😊

Another design hot off the print bed. These do the exact same job but they are lighter, not as chunky and will fit a smaller head.

Both designs are printing at full speed still 👍

Due to being a key worker, I only have limited times I can print.

Production has started again today and will be running until late tonight.

It will then start again early in the morning and be running all day tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 👍

Got over 50 printed so far so by tomorrow afternoon I can drop a batch off at Iudlow hospital 😊

Thought I best email ludlow hospital first to check if it was OK. Glad they are happy to recieve these ear savers free of charge. Will be dropped off this weekend 👍😁 names covered just in case they don't want to be mentioned.
