Choosing who you trust with your colour analysis really matters.
You’re sitting there without makeup, looking in the mirror, often more closely than you usually would. It can feel surprisingly vulnerable.
For some people, it brings up a level of self awareness that feels a little uncomfortable at first. And if the experience isn’t handled with care, it can quickly become something that feels more exposing than empowering.
When I was training, I spent a lot of time thinking about this. Not just learning the theory, but considering how the experience would feel for someone sitting in that chair, especially if their confidence was already low.
Because that part matters just as much as the outcome.
I’ve seen colour analysis presented in a way that feels quite flashy or performative. And while it might look impressive, it doesn’t always feel supportive.
For me, the goal has always been to create something that feels calm, thoughtful and genuinely encouraging.
Colour analysis is never about right or wrong. It’s about showing you what becomes possible when you start wearing colours that truly work for you.
The ones that lift you, soften you, bring clarity to your features.
If you’re considering having your colours done, it’s worth finding someone who makes you feel comfortable enough to be seen in that process.
You can book your colour analysis through my website.
