A viral post can be a terrible business post.
And this is where I see a lot of business owners, coaches and creators get confused.
They see:
Hundreds of shares.
And assume:
“This content worked.”
Maybe.
But worked for what?
There are two very different things you can measure:
Performance:
Reach, views, shares, followers, engagement.
Business impact:
Profile visits, relevant followers, DMs, enquiries, calls, sales.
You need both.
Because performance content helps you get attention.
Business content helps you turn that attention into demand.
The goal isn't to make every post go viral.
It's to know which posts are building visibility and which ones are building the business.
That's one of the things I go much deeper into in my new newsletter.
Every week, I'll break down social media strategy, content, personal branding and the decisions that actually help you grow a business online.
If you're a business owner, coach or creator, this is for you.
