Funny how life changes.

For so long, I stopped showing my face online.

After a difficult experience in business, I convinced myself that shrinking was safer. That if I stayed behind the graphics, websites and strategy, people couldn’t hurt me.

But over the last couple of years, I’ve rebuilt. Slowly.

So if you’re new here (and there are a lot of you lately 👋), hi. I’m Paige.

The anime loving, designer mum behind Hapn HQ. 🤎

I’m the founder and Creative Director of an award winning agency that helps businesses with branding, websites, content creation and social media management. But beyond the titles, I’m just someone who believes you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your entire life to build a successful business.

I used to think success looked like bright grids, £20k months, saying yes to everything and wearing burnout like an ADHD badge of honour because that’s what the online world told us to chase.

Turns out, it doesn’t.

Success now looks like school runs and spending more time with my son than ever before.

Getting the keys to our new home soon.

Growing our family and preparing to welcome our little Christmas miracle after experiencing loss.

Building a business that works around my life instead of the other way around.

Working with incredible clients, collaborating with global brands and organisations like Temu and Shelter, being featured in the news for resilience, winning awards I once only dreamed of… and somehow finding the love of my life because I finally learned to love myself first.

I don’t have to dance on stories.

I don’t have to swear for engagement.

I don’t have to be anyone other than myself.

And honestly? I’ve never felt happier.

So here’s to the rest of 2026.

There’ll be branding kits, websites, content days, social media management, strategy sessions and hopefully the launch of our academy before baby arrives…

(Although I might be slightly optimistic with that one. 😂)

Turns out the biggest project this year wasn’t a business one… 🤎👶

For a little while now, we’ve been keeping the biggest secret.

Truthfully, after experiencing loss last September, sharing this post feels huge!

There were tears.
There were moments where happiness felt scary because we knew how quickly life can change.

But amongst all the emotions, one thing has remained constant…

This little baby is loved beyond words already 🤍

So here we are 🍼✨

This is also why life has looked a little different lately. Why I’ve slowed down, why we’re moving to our dream home, why I’m refining systems, protecting my peace more, and why I’m working hard to finish things before little one arrives. Luckily I have a team who will take over in my maternity leave 🫶

It’s also the reason I turned down the speaking opportunity at the Malaysian Prime Awards 🥂

Because this baby? This baby is so unbelievably wanted, and I have to do everything to protect them!

The perfect Christmas present for me and Dylan 🥰

And perhaps the best part of all…

Colson is absolutely over the moon to become a big brother 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do as a business owner is stop forcing growth and start protecting your peace.

A few weeks ago I spoke openly about stepping back.

Not because business was failing.
Not because I was giving up.
But because somewhere along the way, I realised success means absolutely nothing if you’re too burnt out to enjoy it.

Ironically?

Since posting less and slowing down:

✨ Won another award
✨ Was approached for another collaboration opportunity with Temu
✨ Invited to contribute towards a book discussing AI
✨ Invited overseas to Malaysia for an awards event (more on that soon 👀)
✨ Started working with Shelter supporting campaign work
✨ Continued serving incredible clients with my team behind me

The funny thing about stepping back is… sometimes that’s exactly what allows you to move forward.

Business never stopped.

I’m still busy.
Still building.
Still creating.
Just at a pace that works for me, my family, my health, and the people around me.

Right now I’m rebuilding systems, simplifying processes, and designing a business that actually allows a life outside of work.

And perhaps the project I’m most excited about…

I’m building something I genuinely believe this industry is missing.

Not another “mastermind.”
Not another expensive course with fluffy promises.

A regulated, education focused programme for creatives, marketers, designers and business owners who want to build something sustainable, profitable and real. But most importantly regulated 🙌

Something I’ve poured my entire heart into.

Turns out protecting your energy doesn’t slow growth.

Sometimes it creates space for better things.

Recognition looks good on us especially when it’s earned for branding, digital strategy and business growth, which feels incredibly special.

Not simply because it is another award, but because it reflects the level Hapn now operates at.

Over the years, this business has been rebuilt with far more intention than most people will ever see. The branding, the digital strategy, the business growth systems, the client experience, the positioning, the structure behind the scenes every part has been refined to support a more premium, sustainable and results led agency.

To now be recognised for branding, digital strategy and business growth is a reminder that the quieter work still counts. The long nights. The rebuilding. The resilience. The decision to stop playing small and create a creative marketing agency that actually matches the calibre of the clients and results it delivers.

Hapn was never built to blend in.
It was built to electrify brands, strengthen their positioning, and help businesses scale with more clarity, authority and momentum.

So to be recognised as one of the most influential women in business in 2026 within this space is something I’m deeply proud of.

What we love more is supporting our local community! Stephen’s family garage is where my family always went to fix their bikes.

A brand should feel like the business before a word is even spoken.

With Balance & Bella, the vision was always clear refined movement, feminine strength, elegance and calm. Our role was to translate that into a visual identity that felt as elevated as the experience inside the studio itself.

From the branding package through to this mockup feed, every detail was designed to give the brand presence, cohesion and that immediate sense of this is different.

And that is exactly what happened.

The branding did not just make things look beautiful. It brought the vision to life, gave the studio a clear identity to grow into, and supported the kind of positioning that clients remember. That is exactly why our content shoot days now sit within our branding packages and social media management packages. Because there is little point investing in strategy, positioning and direction if the visuals do not rise to meet it.

This is where the ideas leave the moodboard and become something tangible.
The right setting. The right angles. The right styling. The right quality.

Studio hire can absolutely be added where needed, and whilst that is charged separately, it allows us to create with the level of polish, intention and creative direction your brand actually deserves.
