Delighted to have voiced the latest campaign for Maserati.

Always a privilege to lend my voice to such an iconic luxury brand. I loved the challenge of finding exactly the right tone for this one - especially with no music underneath the read. Every word had to do the work.

A real pleasure to play a small part in bringing such a rich automotive legacy to life. Huge thanks to everyone involved!

I've been thinking about a sentence from my PhD commentary:

"I think myself into another body, another mind."

It sums up something I've come to realise about my work as both a voice actor and a composer. Whether I'm recording a commercial or writing music, the creative process starts in exactly the same place: inhabiting another perspective.

I've written a short reflection about embodied performance, creativity and the unexpected bridge between these two worlds.

I'm using this summer to do something that feels a little contradictory: resting...while taking some big steps forward.

I've got two exciting new projects taking shape, alongside my PhD, my radio play and my voiceover work.

The biggest gift I can give myself right now is time to think. To reflect. To clear my head and make space for new ideas.

Sometimes, the most productive thing we can do is slow down. 😊

Over the past few weeks I've been busily drafting my PhD Commentary. And today, I've just finished it. It's only a first draft but oh the relief!

Now I'm off to record some radio ads. Then some much-earned brewtime. Deffo.

I've had the privilege of recording some of the BBC 5Live promo voiceovers for the World Cup football tournament. It's a teeny tiny part of a truly global event, but one I'm incredibly proud to have played.

V much hoping I get to voice more as England brings it home!! ⚽🎙️

- Christmas ads!
- commercials about a brand new biscuit - yum!

I've also been taking some time to sketch out my PhD commentary. It's early days but it's really taking shape! Loving the process...

Prepare to cringe!

Tomorrow I'll be sharing 'Smile, Darling – People Are Looking' - a warring couple is trying (and failing) not to row in public. It's a piece about social masks, public performance and the exhausting business of appearing perfectly, wonderfully fine.
