The comparison trap is real and it’s soooo easy to get caught up in it. Believe me I’ve been there!

Watching what everyone else is doing, how fast they’re growing, what they’re charging, how they show up. Letting it make me question everything I was building.

But here’s what I know now.

My business is mine,the pace I move at is mine, my clients are mine that I’ve worked so hard to get and build relationships with. My version of success looks completely different to yours and that is not a problem.

You have to stop looking sideways and start looking at what’s actually in front of you.. Your grass is green enough and you have to continue to water it.

Nobody talks honestly about what it actually feels like to run a business as a Mum…

The guilt of opening your laptop while they play on the floor. The invisible mental load that never really switches off. The irony that you chose flexibility and somehow ended up busier and more chaotic than ever.

It doesn’t mean easy.. it just means the hard parts look different and yet you’re more intentional than you’ve ever been.

More boundaried. More aware of what actually matters because you have to be. There’s no other option.

Some days I absolutely don’t get the balance right. Some days the pressure, the unscheduled content and the mum guilt me all hit at once.

But I’m building something that fits around my real life. On my terms. Around the people who matter most and if you’re doing the same alongside the school runs, the chaos and the mental load nobody warned you about?

You’re not behind. You’re not failing. You’re just doing it a little bit differently and following what feels right for you!

I’m done trying to fit in (and you should be too) 👇🏼

I’ve spent years trying to fit into boxes that were never built for me... I’m done with the clean girl aesthetic. The female aesthetic. The “this is what success looks like” aesthetic.

Not because I don’t like them but because I’ve spent too long trying to squeeze myself into boxes that were never built for me.

I like spa hotels AND bright colours. Minimal AND dopamine. Clean AND cosy. And that’s allowed.
You don’t have to pick a lane.

You don’t have to look, sound, or market yourself like everyone else. The standards we’ve been measuring ourselves against? They were never real anyway.

Most of us immediately talk ourselves out of it and reach for the guidebook. But the guidebook is just how one person reads the cards. A starting point, not a rule.

The real skill in tarot is learning to trust what you see and feel when a card lands in front of you. And that trust doesn't come after the learning. It runs alongside it, from day one.

The more you override your gut, the more dependent you become on external sources. Your practice can't grow if you're always outsourcing the reading.
