People can’t ask about a pharmacy service if they don’t know it exists.
Five new Pharmacy First prescribing pathways have been announced for this autumn. It’s another step in the growing clinical role of community pharmacies — and a reminder that patients need to know when and how their local pharmacy can help.
A simple message in a pharmacy window or waiting area can make a difference. Someone collecting a prescription might spot a service they hadn’t heard of, then feel confident enough to ask the team about it.
That’s why clear, up-to-date information matters. As the new pathways become available, each pharmacy can show patients the services it offers and make that first conversation easier.
How do you help people discover what their local pharmacy can do?
