It’s music to our ears when we hear of a campaign that’s used all elements of a marketing team, and it makes us actually dance when it’s for a cause that really matters 💃🏻.

In July, the Mayor of London unveiled a bold new campaign to empower men and boys to say ‘Maaate’ to their mates, to challenge misogynistic male behaviour against women and girls nationwide.

Advertising, Behavioural Science, Social, PR and Influence all worked together to create a broadcast film, flyposters, billboards, social assets, partnerships, media coverage and influencer engagement to deliver impact on a grand scale.

AI is making waves and we’ve scoured on the Internet to find 3 positive impacts it’s had on the world, and, to be honest, they weren’t hard to find!

🩻AI is playing a pivotal role in enhancing healthcare diagnostics! Advanced AI algorithms have been developed to analyse medical images such as X-Rays, MRI’s and CT scans with remarkable accuracy. This has led to quicker and more precise identification of diseases like cancer, meaning early interventions and better patient outcomes!

🌪️AI is helping to predict natural disasters! Analysing vast amounts of meteorological data, including temperature, pressure, wind speed and humidity to model and predict storm patterns more accurately. It can predict a storm’s path, intensity and potential impact - aiding evacuation and disaster response planning.

👩‍🏫AI is personalising education! With AI powered tools teachers can now analyse data on student’s performance, including their strengths and weaknesses, to customise lesson plans. Allowing students to learn at their own pace, with content and activities tailored to their learning styles, interests and skill levels. Personalised learning also helps teachers to identify students who may need additional support, enabling them to intervene early and provide targeted interventions.

Today is the England World Cup Semi-Final and whilst we’re cheering on our lionesses we’re, of course, looking at the ‘marketing angle’ (we know…have a day off 🙄)

It’s predicted that the Lionesses are poised to increase their sponsorship value tenfold, with individual players likely to secure lucrative brand deals and endorsements worth millions of pounds.💰

Brands have already flocked to the squad, with right-back Lucy Bronze already striking deals with Pepsi and Visa, but as we understand, this is only the start.💪🏻

We fully expect to be seeing much more of the team in the weeks and months ahead and, of course, with the way things are going we hope to be seeing them holding that trophy come 20th August.🏆

Our smiles grew from ear to ear when we saw a recent post on Marketing Weekly explaining how global brand, Nomad Foods, owners of household name Birdseye, are planning to increase advertising and promotions across the group by 70% as it targets market share growth in the second half of 2023.❤️

Perfectly aligning themselves with the ‘back to school’ schedule, Nomad is looking to position itself as an affordable option in challenging times, particularly in the UK and Italy.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇹

Bringing back the infamous ‘Captain’ as their hero, they are planning to be more ‘aggressive’ in terms of their claims to the consumer regarding quality and price. 👨‍✈️

Let’s see if this investment and strategy really can ‘freeze’ out the competition - pun intended.🥶

Ok, we'll admit it, we've not yet seen Barbie!

But let’s be honest, we feel like we have! With over 100 brand partnerships, billboards, adverts and even Google turning pink and sparkly when the search term 'Barbie' is mentioned you can’t escape…and we LOVE IT 💕

If by some massive chance you hadn't heard of the iconic 'Barbie' doll (who is now 64 years old!) you certainly have now, and that's what has really got us... 👀

The resurgence of this iconic 'brand' is something that from a marketing perspective we can all look at in awe.💗

Yes, it is possible to revamp outdated brand messaging, without losing original identity and without disregarding everything that came before. Brands must recognise their shortfalls and listen to their new consumers and then take real action.💪🏻

Reinvention paired with intelligent marketing can be immensely powerful - dare we say it just has the perfect 'Ken-ergy' 👱🏻‍♂️
