Social media isn’t hard.

Creating content, keeping up with trends, engaging with your audience, planning posts, analysing performance and doing it consistently whilst running a business is where it gets difficult.

Most business owners don’t struggle because they don’t know social media exists. They struggle because there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.

Between serving clients, answering enquiries, managing staff, dealing with admin and trying to have some sort of life outside of work, social media often ends up at the bottom of the list.

Why a branding shoot is important, in my opinion 👀

If you’re a business owner and you use social media, I would absolutely recommend investing in a content or branding shoot. Hear me out… selfies and self-taken photos can be incredible, absolutely, but if you’re looking for that little cherry on top to elevate your brand and overall look online, a branding shoot can make such a difference.

Having a bank of photos and B-roll content to pull from for your personal posts, educational content and everyday social media posts makes things so much easier. Add in behind the scenes videos and suddenly posting starts to feel a lot less stressful and a lot more natural.

Think of it as a long-term investment into your personal brand rather than a short-term cost.

Things I hear every single time I speak to a business owner 👀

“I don’t know what to post.”
“I don’t have enough time.”
“I hate being on camera.”
“I’m posting but I’m not getting anything back.”

The reality is, most business owners are already juggling a million different things. Social media ends up becoming another task on a never-ending to do list, which means consistency usually gets pushed to the bottom.

The problem is not usually a lack of ideas. It is often a lack of time, strategy and having someone there to help turn ideas into content that actually works.
