Happy seven years in business to me! 🥳
I treated the kids to a cinema trip to see Zootropolis 2. Yes, crazy idea I know - especially on the hottest day of the year but it was lovely and cool inside and only £2 per person when I booked it! 😅🥳 We all really enjoyed the day out and you can’t beat a trip to Barnsley Markets beforehand for some pick-n-mix 😋
If you’ve been with me from the start, you’ll already know the driving force behind me setting my business up was my beautiful kids. When I had Alfie I was working in Leeds and was sadly refused my flexible working request at the time (pre-Covid times 🙄) and so I decided I didn’t want to miss out on Alfie’s early years so I walked away, with the full support of my family, to build a business that worked for me AND my family.
That’s one of the reason I post about my life and kids on my social media, I’m proud of them and they led me to a career I never thought I’d have. Working for yourself is hard, very unpredictable and I don’t earn a fortune but I’ve not looked back.
It was a huge leap of faith at the time, but I’ve found something that I really enjoy that allows me to be at school pick ups, special assemblies and school shows and for me, that’s priceless. I love that I have the freedom to choose the projects that I want to work on and the clients I’d like to work with, that’s bloody lovely! I love being my own boss 💪🏼

I’m looking forward to a busy few months ahead and super pleased to be starting a brand new project next week! Watch this space 😄
