A bit of an honest update from us.
We opened Xo Studios with a big vision to create a space where people could show up, create confidently and elevate their content without the usual barriers like the wonderful Welsh weather, privacy, aesthetic & lighting …
And I think we did that?
We’ve welcomed so many of you through the doors that have become great friends. Seen brands grow, ideas come to life and watched people step into a new level of confidence in front of the camera. That part will always mean something special to us …
But behind the scenes, the reality of running a space like this has been… a lot.
Costs rising.
Goalposts moving.
And for small businesses, it can feel like you’re constantly trying to catch up in a game that keeps changing and a system that’s built to work against you rather than with you. Which is a shame!
At the same time, our personal life has shifted more than we ever expected in such a short space of time and it’s made us really stop and look at what matters most.
For us, right now, that’s family.
So we’ve made the decision to close the studio.
Not because it failed, but because we’re choosing to protect our time, our energy and focus on our next chapter.
Our final day for bookings will be Sunday 24th May, then our doors will be closed.
If you’ve been thinking about booking, we’d genuinely love to have you in the space before we say goodbye.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, booked with us, shared us and believed in what we were building. It hasn’t gone unnoticed!
We’re proud of what we created, the mammoth amount of effort, time and money we put into creating XO’s, making what it is today!
But, we’re even prouder to know when it’s time to pivot and move on, no matter how hard it feels.
This isn’t the end, just a change in direction.
