Real sad sale of a much loved fun pony Ozzie.

I have owned Ozzie since he was 3 and backed/produced him myself. Since then we have competed at places such as Royal International twice, Windsor, Norfolk Show, Suffolk Show, Equifest a fair few times, and lots of local venues.

He is a fun all rounder, will school nicely on the flat, loves a jump and has competed up to 80cm, loves hacking with or without company. I have gone out for hours on him on my own before.
All that being said he does have his quirks... He can be cold backed when first mounted, particularly after clipping or after a while not ridden. This isnt anything dramatic though, he will put his back up and shuffle about but will soon settle if you just sit quietly and ask him to walk on. He can also crib bite if he is bored, I put cribbox in his stable and that is enough to deter him, he has never worn a collar etc and doesnt do it at stay away shows. He can also be quite mouthy so I wouldnt suggest tiny kiddies putting their hands near his mouth, he doesnt mean anything by it, just a cheeky pony!
He has stayed away at many shows and is no problem to load and travel. I can leave him on the box at shows too. Always a snaffle mouth, hapy in a double and has recently been ridden by a 13 year old in a basic wilkie.

Only reason for selling is lack of time and I feel the perfect family could be out there to give him what he deserves. He has recently been loaned by a 13yo girl who came straight from a riding school and I have taught her on him.

He would be an ideal Mother/Daughter share, teenagers dream or small adult fun pony. He really does turn his hoof to anything.

No complete novices, he deserves to have a job and have fun! I have soooo many videos/photos of him so if you need anymore info please message 07922 032251 🐴

✨ Welsh Section D Gelding – 4 Years Old – 14.1 approx to mature to 14.2✨
Alfie is a truly eye-catching youngster with huge potential! This stunning 4yo Section D gelding is unbroken but ready to be started over the winter. He has all the attributes to make a top class show prospect and a real contender for HOYS in the right hands.
Beautiful, uphill, extravagant mover with real presence
Correct conformation and a fabulous stamp of the breed
Naturally athletic and a definite head-turner in the ring
Well handled, living in and out in the day, had tack on – unspoilt and ready for someone to put their own stamp on
Not suitable for a novice as needs further education
Kind, lovely temperament, good to load, farrier ect
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a quality Section D with the movement, presence and potential to go right to the top. He will excel in the show ring!
Happy to keep him on the yard & be professionally broken.
💫 Serious enquiries only – this boy deserves a 5⭐
Can be seen in Suffolk or Newbury! 07950566700 or message!

Looking for a new 🏡

We have come to the sensible decision to let Albert find a new family.

Homebred ( Out of a Rivervalley mare and by Moorcroft the Master), with very low mileage, due to me having children, he is the most genuine and willing pony and is incredibly easy to do.
Albert has far too many wins to mention; he has contested a handful of shows this season gaining two seconds (on joint 1st marks) in the few HOYs qualifiers he has done. Albert can come straight off the lorry, quick 5 minute warm up and then straight into the ring. Given his kind nature we made the decision to geld him at the start of the year and he is very easily ridden by a tiny 12 year old jockey ( doesn’t need to be set up by an adult) and he will happily ride around in the busiest of rings and settles at stay away shows, completely unfazed by the busy buzzy showrings.
Having 2 small children and a fair few ponies Albert is constantly on the back burner and he genuinely deserves to be doing more.. We believe he will excel in any sphere; we have done some pole work but not jumped, but given his willing nature I’m sure he would take to jumping, he would easily do dressage and he is proven in the show ring.

LHC 136cm, he is dead straight, clean limbed and correct.

Serious enquiries only please - please call if genuinely interested. 07827089193

The workshop you have been looking for is finally here…. The importance of type and conformation of the native pony.

Who wants to attend an interactive workshop, where you can have a good look at a variety of native ponies and discuss the merits of type and conformation with our panel of experts?

We have a fantastic line up of ponies, including previous HOYs winners and finalists for you to come and have a good look over.

The agenda is shaping up to be a really exciting and informative day; we want this to be as interactive as possible and for attendees to ask the panel any questions they may have.
This day is open to all, from those with a general interest in showing, breeding and native ponies in general, those wanting a better understanding of what we mean by ‘type’ and how this factors into our thoughts when judging and what is considered good conformation? It would be a great day for anyone contemplating going for an official judging panel and equally great for any existing judges who are interested in perhaps a different perspective.

Places will be strictly limited and on a first come first served basis.

For those wanting to come from further afield there is a travelodge less than 5 minutes from the venue. (Thame, OX9 3SB)
