We’re proud to have designed and developed a brand-new website for University Hospitals of North Midlands Charity (UHNM Charity), creating a much more engaging, accessible and user-friendly experience for all.

Working in collaboration with PREM Management, we’ve created a website that better reflects the Charity’s values and showcases the real impact its work has across Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital in Stafford.

The new site brings its stories, achievements and people to the forefront, while prioritising NHS-compliant accessibility.

Having recently graduated from the University of Staffordshire with a First-Class Honours degree in Graphic Design, Mia brings a passion for great design and plenty of fresh creative ideas to the Limelight team. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿?

I found out about graphic design when I was looking for courses at college. I got inspired by one of the students’ coursework and instantly became interested and wanted to pursue it as a career! I love design too because it's always changing and there are new trends emerging every day.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?

I’m looking forward to developing my skills, learning more about Adobe software and working alongside the whole team, who will help me grow and build my career in design!

It would probably be Apple. I love the minimalist design but feel we could change it up a bit and add more personality!

I like spending time with my family, going to the gym and playing PC games. I also love travelling to different cities and countries, going on day trips, and baking is one of my favourite hobbies!

And now for a few quick-fire questions…

Both! These are the main apps I use daily (doomscrolling mostly).

I lean more towards night owl, it’s hard for me to wake up super early naturally.

It depends on my cravings, but nowadays I love savoury food.

To celebrate 33 years of Limelight, we’re taking a little trip down memory lane and looking back at how our website has evolved since we launched our very first one back in the 1990s.

From dial-up days and chunky graphics to the slick, responsive websites we create today, the world of web and graphic design has certainly changed a lot over the last three decades!

And while plenty has changed, one thing hasn’t... We still love creating great design that helps businesses put their best foot forward.

Good design doesn’t just make a brochure look good. It makes your brand feel recognisable. 👀

Central Medical Supplies Ltd. wanted a professional brochure their sales team could give to customers, showcasing their reputation as a trusted distributor of medical warming cabinets.

With an established brand and existing marketing materials consistency was key. We took inspiration from their logo and brand guidelines, using their brand colours and distinctive curves to create a look that feels instantly familiar, while creating unique brand assets.

The result? A professional, on-brand brochure that puts their products front and centre and gives customers a clear, engaging introduction to their warming cabinet range.

This is another example of how thoughtful design can bring an established brand to life across different marketing materials.
