We have a new website!
We decided to rebuild our entire website ourselves.
On a platform we'd never used before.
.with a two-week deadline.
Probably not the smartest decision.
(but here we are)
The new site is built in
We chose it because we wanted something that felt modern, fast and easy to maintain.
After years of dealing with WordPress plugins, updates and technical debt, we wanted a clean slate! We really had had enough.
The interesting thing wasn't learning a new platform.
It was being forced to rethink how we talk about what we actually do.
Over the last 12 months we've changed a lot internally.
We've restructured the team.
Refined our services.
Expanded beyond traditional SEO into authority building, PR and broader organic growth. The old website didn't really reflect any of that.
The new one does.
We've also brought our blog onto the main site vs being on a subdomain (there was a reason for this at the time), which means everything now lives in one place.
It's still not perfect.
There are things we'll improve.
There always are.
But after a challenging month, it feels good to get something meaningful over the line as we head into Q3.
