Your marketing team has the same subscriptions I do...

The kit may match but the output doesn't come close, because somebody still has to know what they are doing with the tools before a single frame gets generated.

Generating it is the quick part. But the it cut, timed, graded and matched to the shots either side of it, same as any other footage.

So its really not about whether you can generate something, it's about who is using the tools available.

We need to market our event Taz, but it hasnt happened yet...' Say less - thats where a creative, informative, well executed AI solution works.

This shot started with a real life drone shot, including all of the equipment, skills, knowledge and permissions (from the cricket ground) required to get the drone footage, followed by numerous iterations of gen ai to get the right vibe, then editing the combination of all footage involved together, with sound design. Over a day's work there, not including the planning and prep.

In the end, we actually ended up using a different concept (the flyer being pulled over the pitch) but this was a really cool concept. Luckily, the process and tools available allow me to present clients with multiple concepts where required, something that is impossible with traditional camera work.

Then, we filmed the actual event on the day and produced an awesome, customer journey led event recap video. Successfully marketing the event before it took place, then documenting the actual event on the day, the perfect use of professional video production, and enhanced AI creativity.

Big ticks all around.
