OK, now hear me out.....

I'm not saying WordPress isn't a great platform because I know it is.

But I've had multiple conversations with small business owners who have WordPress websites and they have been left frustrated because they don't know how to use them either at all or to it's full potential.

And this is where platforms like and excel. Especially when you go with a designer who will give you step by step tutorials on editing post-launch (cough, cough.... Me!).

The biggest difference I understand is the interface. It's just not as intimidating to look at. And we all know mindset can be everything when it comes to overcomimg obstacles.

If you are stuck with a WordPress website and you know you A) definitely don't want or simply cannot wrap your head around it and B) you aren't in a position to hire someone to keep it updated, then maybe you need to consider changing to a different platform?

Latest client project: Registered charity

The Goal:

💫 To create a website my client could actually use

💫 2) To streamline processes to make managing everything behind the scenes easier

💫 3) To create an online presence that the whole community could use to keep up to date with events, secure retreat tickets, purchase merchandise, make donations and even join the community as a newcomer.

This was a joy of a project and such a honour to complete.

This proves that modern techniques can be combined with traditional (in this case renaissance) style content/images to create an eye catching and engaging website.

And I'm super excited to see how much my client has already added to the new site with the help of my video tutorials.

The Business: Serene Salt Therapy. The home of natural and alternative health solutions.

The Vision: Mairead wanted a website that gave a Serene feeling...just like when you step into her online premises.

The Goal: To educate on natural health therapies that aren't well-known and give ideal clients an idea of what to expect from their visit to the results they would enjoy from the therapy.

Mairead also needed a booking service embedded onto the website.

Creating this website was a joy. Being able to put together a website that was calm but packed full of content to educate and drive action from visitors. (Having lots of written content also helps with SEO...so there is a little tip for you).

Serene enjoys ranking in the top 3 positions on Google on a number of relevant keywords for the business....
