I’M BACK!!🥳🥳🥳

I didn’t really leave, I’ve been doing the occasional commission the last few months, but I did step back for a HOT minute!

It’s been a hectic few months, I’ve moved house, started a new job in social media (YAY!) and been enjoying that post-lockdown social life, but I’m back and ready to take on commissions for bdays, Christmas, gifts and professional branding, I’ll try my hand at anything!🤩

Since I have my mojo back I’m treating you all to a little discount…

✨ Introducing the face behind 𝔻𝕚𝕘𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝔻𝕖𝕥𝕒𝕚𝕝𝕤 ✨

Hey, I’m Erin, I’m 23 years old from the town of Paisley in Scotland ☺️

I have a BA(Hons) in Public Relations and I’m currently working towards a SCQF level 9 diploma in Strategic Digital Marketing. I have a background working in retail, hospitality, marketing and media relations. Since graduating from university in 2019 my part-time student job has become my full time job, working as a supervisor for well-known pub chain!

I’m a people person, which is probably why I’ve stayed where I am for so long, however this last year has made me reevaluate what I want from life and taught me life is definitely too short to stay in one place just because your comfortable, you have to challenge yourself!

I’ve been a creative person since I was old enough to hold a crayon! I love drawing and painting, my only 2 As at school were from graphic design and art, however I fell away from it when my studies took over. I rather suddenly ended up with a lot of free time in the last year (thanks rona!) so I got myself a stylus and took up digital drawing. Then it hit me.. why don’t I combine something I’m good at (graphic design) with what I’ve studied for years (PR and marketing) and voila - DIGITAL DETAILS by Erin was born 🤩

Here’s some random facts about myself:

✨ I’ve seen Westlife live about 15 times. I’ll just leave it there.

✨ I am obsessed, and I repeat obsessed with country music! I grew up listening to the likes of Elvis, Randy, Garth and Shania thanks to my Mum but old school Taylor Swift and Old Dominion are the songs I blast loudest

✨I love to travel, the most far away place I’ve been is Dominican Republic (STUNNING!!!) but Paris is a little closer to home and will always have my heart ❤️

✨ I have a pup called Maya, she’s already a complete diva and we are all beneath her

✨I love Musicals! My OG is Wicked but the Hamilton soundtrack is my most listened album on iTunes!

✨ My favourite film is Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, and even though it’s most definitely aimed at 14 year old girls it’s still like a Bible to me a decade later!

Hopefully you’ll get to know me more in the future!

✨ Logos variations explained ✨

Branding is so important and is one of the key features of your brand is having a logo that’s going to stand out to customers and clients. It's a misconception that one logo 'will do' when usually a business with good branding can have up to 4 logo variations - 1 primary logo, and several other secondary logos.

✨ The primary logo is the main graphic that represents your brand/business and is the graphic that is used the most often. This is how people will recognise your brand.

✨ The secondary logo is a simplified version of the primary logo.
This design may eliminate some text or rearrange the elements to improve readability in small sizes. Secondary logos are intended for online use or when you must resize your logo to small formats.

✨Within your logo variations you’ll want to have a Submark. This is a super stripped down version of both. the Submark is used when the design has to be resized in a super small format and it helps communicate your brand clearly via the form of an image.

Introducing my new logo and submark!

I’m so proud of myself over the last few months, picking up a new skill and seeing where it takes me. Therefore thought a rebrand was due to make this little dream more a reality!

I’ll now be expanding the services I offer (don’t worry I’m still obsessed with doing everyone’s custom illustrations) but I want to try and incorporate what I’m trained to do into this venture of mine!🤩
