Let me introduce you to the newest member of the Canon gang - Big Chengus!! He’s a big, black chunk of a printer, spitting out up to 44 inches wide of the most beautiful, bright and colourful prints you ever did saw!! (Does that even make sense? Who cares!!!).

Big Chengus is just his nickname, He’s actually a Canon GP4600s who’s been drafted in after the sad demise of the other canon printer that didn’t even have a name in the great flood of ‘26.

Big Chengus loves pretty ladies, the Beastie Boys and claims not to support any football teams because it’s stupid.

To the left of Big Chengus is ‘Wee Chengus’, he’s a canon Pro 2100 - 12 colour, A1 printer.

The wee white printer beside Wee Chengus is Alan. He likes to print up to A1 posters.

There ye have it folks. Bring on your posters for Big Chengus and the gang!!

How dare you…

I’ll wing it just like I do everything else :)

Well, it looks like the World Cup printing has started with a couple of smashing posters for Spex Appeal.

I’m no football expert but I’m pretty sure that’s Andy McCoist doing a roly-poly kick into the goal on the right and that other guy…. Hmmm, I’m gonna go with Henrik Larson?

Question of sport - here I come 🙂

Oh aye… those 2 plants are dead.

Hello there Everyone! Just a quick notice to say that I'm totally swamped with work at the moment, with a lot of the work I'm doing being very time-sensitive. So, for the next couple of days, I'm going to go 'Out of Office' to allow me to catch up, and hopefully not get stressed out. if you have some kind of design/print emergency, then call me on 07970072263.

Can I also take this opportunity to put something out there: I'm getting quite a lot of design briefs that are really still at the conception stage or half-baked at best, with the client giving me the 'go-ahead' at this stage. Long story short - This doesn't work... well, not in my workflow at least. What it does is waste time and it gives me stress as I'm constantly second-guessing myself, wondering if I'm on the right track or not... invariably not :)

Moving forward, I'll need to insist that whatever work you put my way is fully-formed, as in - ALL raw materials: details, images, text are supplied... At this point, I will supply the imagination and turn these raw materials into something creative and professional. That's the deal folks!!

Right, I'd better go before I get on a rant about AI-generated briefs... Ach, why not... F**** right off with those, I want to know what YOU think, not a bloody robot. There, I said it :)

Cheers Big Ears.

I had some spare time before picking up my daughter last night, and had noticed the early evening glow and the effect the low sun was having on the buildings, so off I went with my camera and got a few shots in for my Paisley Town Centre image library.

Every year, I miss the cherry blossoms in Dunn Square and around the Abbey, so I was sure to get them in.
Enjoy!

Just a polite notice to remind people that I am entirely open to bribery of any sort and especially welcome bribes of a food-based nature.

I will now be ditching everyone else’s work in favour of Scott McGinlay Catering until such times as this lunch can be topped 🙂

Cheers Scott!!
