Find out why your Instagram isn't generating enquiries.

18/08/2026

I've always known my brain works a little differently but I've just never really known why.

There are things I've struggled with for years that I've learnt to work around, hide, push through or blame myself for.

But the more I've learnt about myself, the more I've started to wonder if there's more to it

So I've decided I want to find out 🩷

I am going to get an assessment. I have already done a mini one but going to do a further one

I don't know where that will lead yet, and I don't want to say that I exactly what I think it is before I know for sure (self diagnosis is absolutely valid, but because I am documenting this whole thing & potentially giving advice etc going forwards, I just want to be absolutely sure)

But I do want to talk about it. Partly because I think there's still so much stigma around neurodivergence.

Some people want that answer, some people don't want or need a label at all.

Neither is right or wrong.

What is wrong is when people are nasty, judgemental, dismissive, ignorant, and drag people down saying horrible things, all of which can put people off from getting help they deserve.

And for me, I think understanding my own brain better could help me make sense of a lot of things, and that includes how I run my business and also how I show up online.

And because I already work with so many incredible people in the mental health, wellbeing and neurodivergent spaces, maybe this will allow me to connect even deeper with the work I do for my clients.

It feels quite vulnerable sharing this when I don't have the answers yet. But I think that's exactly why it is important for me to do it 🩷

So this is Figuring Out My Brain: Part 1 🧠

If you have been on this journey or thinking about doing so, I would love to hear your experience if you feel comfortable. Please know you can message me 😊🩷

Your post could be labelled as being made by AI... even if wasn't.

And I think this is where AI labelling gets a little bit complicated.

I'm actually VERY in favour of platforms being clearer about when something has been generated using AI.

If an image, video or piece of content has been completely generated, I think it's a good thing that people can see that.

But there's a pretty big difference between generating an entire image from scratch and using an AI-powered tool (often without even realising it is an AI tool) to make a tiny edit to something you've created yourself.

I am seeing people get flagged when they are bluring their children's faces from pics, removing something from a photo, making small edits to an otherwise completely real photo.

And yes, AI might have been involved somewhere in that process. But I don't think someone looking at the finished post would necessarily consider that "AI generated content".

And that's where I think the labelling needs to have more nuance.

I'd love to see platforms get better at distinguishing between content that's been fully generated and content where AI has simply been used as an editing tool.

Maybe that means different labels.

Maybe it means being clearer about how AI was used.

Because we're quickly getting to a point where AI is built into so many of the tools we already use that "AI was involved" can mean VERY different things.

For now, I think it's just worth being aware that even if you aren't intentionally creating AI content, some of the editing tools you're using may still leave AI signals behind.

And if you see an AI label on someone else's post, I probably wouldn't immediately assume the whole thing was generated either.

There's a lot of grey area in between.

What do you think? Should a small AI-assisted edit be labelled differently to something completely AI generated?

I made a free quiz because I wanted to create a lead magnet that was ACTUALLY useful!!!

It is no secret I have absolutely beyondddd neglected email marketing for my own business... foreverrrrr 🤣

So I needed to change that. But it is 2 way street so I also wanted to create a lead magnet that isn't just a useless downloadable thing that you will forget.

I wanted this to help all of you business owners to look at your Instagram properly, and work out where you might be missing opportunities for enquiries 😊

So I asked you what YOU need, and developed this free quiz, then I asked people what they thought, and the feedback so far has made me VERY happy 🥰

People have told me it helped them spot things they hadn't thought about, gave them clear next steps and was genuinely helpful.

If you're posting on Instagram but you're not getting as many enquiries as you'd like, my free quiz looks at the whole journey:

Can the right people find you?

Does your profile make them want to stick around?

Are you giving them enough reason to trust you?

Is it obvious what they should do next?

It takes around 2 minutes, and you'll get a personalised action plan based on your answers.

Comment QUIZ and I'll send it to you, or you can take it through the link in my bio 😊🩷

And if you've already taken it, I'd genuinely love to know what you thought as I will keep improving it and making updates! x

I wonder how many amazing business owners have convinced themselves they're bad at Instagram...

When actually they're just trying to keep up with a content strategy that was never designed for them.

Some people love spending hours filming, editing and following trends.

Some don't 🩷

Neither is right or wrong!!

The problem starts when you believe that's what success is supposed to look like.

Because then every time you sit down to create content, you're comparing your behind the scenes to someone else's highlight reel.

Your strategy doesn't need to look like anyone else's.

It needs to fit your life, your business, your strengths, your time, your energy, and your budget.

That's why you'll never hear me say you have to post reels every day, or spend hours creating content.

The important part is what you say, not necessarily what format it is (especially if this is a blocker for you when it comes to showing up!) 🥰

Have you ever talked yourself out of posting because you thought it wasn't "good enough"? X

I used to think about Instagram one post at a time.

Now I think about the experience someone has when they discover my account.

It's highy likely that nobody sees your content in the neat order you planned it. At least, not most people.

Someone might find you through a reel, then read a carousel from 3 weeks ago, then check your bio, your story highlights and your pinned posts before deciding whether to enquire.

Every part of your profile is helping them make that decision.

That's why I don't just look at individual posts anymore. I look at the whole buyer journey.

If your Instagram is getting profile visits but not many enquiries, it might not be your content alone that's the problem.

It could be the experience people have once they land on your profile.

That's exactly what my Instagram Profile Makeover is designed to fix.

I'll review your bio, optimise your story highlights, create 3 strategic pinned posts and give you personalised recommendations to help turn more profile visitors into enquiries.

If you'd like more info, comment MAKEOVER below or send me a DM 🩷
