Construction and Trade business owners, listen up. 📣
There is more to social media than just chucking stuff out and hoping it sticks. It does not work, plain and simple. You need a strategy, but even more importantly you need to invest in your social media marketing the same way you do your materials.
Imagine if you decided you’re gonna start using PVA glue instead of cement… hear me out I know you very obviously wouldn’t do that but just entertain the thought for a second. 😳
What would happen? Well, you’d have an absolute sh*t show of a wall to start with. But let’s go even further to say you continue with the build, you and the team spent weeks completing it and you show you client the finished result.
Now because our pretend PVA glue is quite strong, you’ve managed to complete the job but less than 24 hours later your clients noticing there’s glue oozing everywhere and by the time you return to site the whole wall has fallen down. 🤦🏼♀️
Your client obviously isn’t happy. You’ve now got to spend more money on labour, the proper materials AND try your best to salvage your client relationship.
And you’re left thinking “why didn’t I just get the proper stuff?? I could have saved time and money!!!” 😔
Look I know that’s a bit of a stretch, but hopefully you get the point. When done properly, your social media marketing is one of the most powerful tools to have in your kit.
