One of the things we talk about during a Style Consultation is proportions; that is, the relationship of your body to your legs, as well as the position of your waist. Often overlooked is your rise (the distance between the base of your bottom and waist). So for example, someone with shorter legs can have a short, average or long rise.

Why is this important? Well, once you understand your body proportions, you’ll be able to combine clothes that appear to adjust any imbalances and give the illusion of perfect proportions.
