“I know it’s silly, but I always say please and thank you to ChatGPT - just in case.”
Ever heard someone say that? It’s funny … but it also says a lot about how we’re already changing the way we interact with the internet.
Instead of short, robotic search terms, we’re telling stories. We’re asking real questions. And we’re expecting answers that sound human.
That shift from keywords to conversations isn’t just changing how we search. It’s changing how websites need to sound, how businesses build trust online, and maybe even how we think about work itself.
We wrote a blog about it over at Head On Creative:
“Please and Thank You, GPT: How AI is rewiring the web - and us”
It’s part cultural observation, part content strategy, part soft existential crisis. Would love to know what you think.
It’s something I’ve heard a lot of people say lately. And it tells you something strange but important about the way we’re using AI. We’re not just searching or instructing anymore. We’re chatting. And that’s a very different relationship.
