When we speak from the heart, it makes us vulnerable in lots of different ways. 💖

That vulnerability can show up as the fear of being misunderstood, taken out of context, or having your words turned against you. We fear losing people or opportunities.

But “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” When you speak from the heart of your brand, the right people will find you, listen, and stay; anyone or anything not meant for you will simply scroll on anyway.

If they’re real ones they’ll get you! 🫶🏼

You do not have to share everything to be a strong brand; you only need to share your message. Speak with intention, protect your boundaries, and remember that not everything is meant for public. Some things are just for you. ❤️‍🩹

It’s time for a long overdue reintroduction post! “Hi!”👋🏻

And the only way to do this in my authentic voice is literally to talk into the mic and write this out as I go.

I’m Lianne. I started this account not as a business, but just to help people and that’s still at the core of what I do. But of course, it’s only help if it’s actually what people want and need.

So over time, I’ve learned to stop giving unsolicited advice (mostly😅) and instead use the things that trigger me on Instagram; the moments where I think “people are getting this wrong” as fuel for my own content.

I originally started this account to help a friend I met while doing admin in a Facebook group. They had car detailing products to sell, so I suggested we try Instagram. And everything I learned from that, I turned into content: shared in a way that was simple, human, and not full of industry jargon.

And then I suddenly realised… this is just social media marketing, which thousands of other people are already doing 😅 I now call myself a brand and content strategist cos it’s bigger than just “what should I post?” It’s about looking at the heart of your brand and what it represents to build a community aligned with your mission who want to get involved and champion the same thing. 💖

As clients started coming to me and asking for help with more and more things: writing emails, building websites, editing reels, filming content, product photography, community nurturing, outreach, I just kept learning more and more along the way.

So the core of what I do has always been the same: trying to help people. But the mission is really about being a bridge between what people think and feel, and how to translate that into content that actually connects with their ideal community and having a bit of fun while doing it and hopefully spreading some joy along the way too! ✨

Here’s a fun fact about me and why I’m called Beachseeker®️I spent 7 years living in Brighton and 15 months living in Australia - my favourite beach ever was Whitesands Beach in the Whitsundays. 😍🌊🐠😌

People hear “storytelling” and think they need to sit in front of a camera and tell some deep, cinematic story.

You don’t.

A reel just needs a beginning, middle and end.
Something simply needs to happen.

In this reel:
girl walks to tree.
girl looks at tree.
girl sits under tree.

That’s a story.

Often people don’t know how to turn their thoughts, ideas and mission into content that actually aligns with what they want to say.

That’s what intentional content pillars and simple storytelling do.

And if your excuse is:
“I don’t like talking on camera.”

Then don’t.

Film your day. (Even just 10 seconds of it!)
Add text overlay.
Post the reel.

There’s always a way around it.

Today marks 6 years of Beachseeker®️Media 🤍

I’m grateful for my business as it gives me a way to help people and gives me hope for building a better future for myself and my son. 👩🏼‍🦱🙍🏽‍♂️

When I first started Beachseeker®️Media, it was about sharing ideas, creating content, helping people, and talking in an easy to understand way about social media and business marketing.

Then people started asking me for help.

That’s how the services happened. As I learnt whatever clients were asking for, content design, website building, email campaign writing…

A lot has changed in the online world in that time.

6 years ago, you could post something and reach thousands of people within minutes.
Now everything feels slower and more competitive.

AI didn’t even exist in the way it does now.
Attention spans have changed.
Algorithms have changed.
The pressure to constantly post has changed.
And growth doesn’t happen like it used to.

The heart of good content hasn’t changed!

Good content comes from understanding people — and understanding yourself.

It comes from vulnerability.
Connection.
Self-awareness.
Actually caring about the people you want to reach.

Over the years, I’ve realised I like helping people dig deeper into their brand, their message and how things are actually coming across from the outside.

And if we’re open and create a save space where we can communicate openly, I’ll always be honest with you to shape ideas, challenge things that might not be connecting, or help you see parts of your brand that you maybe can’t see yourself yet.

To help you create something more meaningful, aligned and human. And attract the right people to you.

People don’t stop scrolling for polished content anymore.

They stop for content that resonates.

Content that reflects what they’re already thinking, feeling or craving on a deeper level.

And I think that’s why so many brands are struggling right now.

There’s so much content being outsourced, automated and created from the surface that a lot of businesses have lost connection to their actual voice.

You can feel it.

The posts say the “right” things…
but they don’t really connect.

For me, good marketing starts with looking inward first:
your values,
your perspective,
your mission,
your natural way of helping people.

Because when your messaging is rooted in who you actually are, content becomes so much easier to create.

You stop forcing it.
You stop trying to sound like everyone else.
And you start building clear content pillars that naturally attract the right people to you.

From now onwards, the brands that will stand out are the ones that feel real.
