Happy New Year!
I wanted to kick the year off with a gratitude post after having an amazing few weeks off all social media and client work to spend with family and friends over Christmas!
We have lots of exciting plans happening in 2026 - but to kick things off here’s my top 5 things that happened last year!
1 - All our previously NDA-d projects launched! We’ve been limited with what we’ve been able to show on YouTube and Instagram over the last two years - so being able to share five/six brands and companies we’ve been working on (and with) was great! I’m really looking forward to making deep-dive videos about the creation process for them over on YouTube!
2 - Our portfolio that I’ve been working on throughout 2025 launched in tandem with this! I’ve been really enjoying designing our portfolio website from scratch in Framer, with lots of you enjoying the video where I showed the BTS of creating that (which p.s is a big trend for 2026 - go check out the newest video - Trends are dead!)
3 - Our team grew! We are now a small team of five; myself, my wife Naomi, Cameron our videographer and editor, Sam our senior designer and we also welcomed to the line-up - a super talented dude who you might recognise from the last logo battle series we did the previous summer 😎
4 - We kept posting! Anyone who posts content regularly as part of their work will know the usual struggles that come with the likes of comparison, imposter syndrome and the often harsh nature of the online world - it can be so easy to stop or fall into traps, so I’m thankful for a year of consistency, especially as we’re about to reach 1M subscribers over on YouTube 😮🎉
5 - I worked with some big brands! It will never not blow my mind when we get emails through from Apple, Adobe, Affinity and other brands wanting to work with us on design campaigns, social media and events, it’s such a dream - and I’m so excited to get started on 2026!
I’m hyped for more client projects, more podcasts and interviews, more events 👀 - and meeting other creatives! As well as hopefully helping designers on their own journeys along the way…
Bring it on and let’s make good work! 🎉
