If you only had a £1K budget for your marketing… This is what I’d suggest spending it on 👀

We work with social media management clients on a monthly basis.

But the reality is, not every business needs full management.

Some already have an internal marketing team.
Others simply don’t have the budget for it yet.

If you’ve got £1K to invest, I’d focus on getting the right foundations in place.

Creating enough GOOD content that you can actually use consistently.
And learning how to do some of it yourself too.

That’s why alongside management, we also offer:

🎥 One-off & monthly content shoots

🎬 B-roll shoots if you just need fresh footage to work with

📈 In-house team training sessions to teach our methods & strategy

Social media management is our bread and butter.

There’s obviously a huge demand for businesses wanting it completely taken off their hands - and we cater for that.

But I’m also not going to tell every business they need a monthly retainer when they don’t 😂

Sometimes you just need the content. A strategy. And someone to point you in the right direction.

And if I had £1K to work with? I’d rather see you spend it wisely than blow the whole thing on a retainer you don’t actually need yet 👀

September so far…

Trip to Devon to deliver a 2-day workshop for a metal recycling company ♻️

Off I went at 7am to get there for 11am 🕚

The launch of our new part of the business, where we offer extra support that compliments social media services.

Clients treating me to sausage sandwiches with red sauce, lovely jubbly!

Content shoots with clients we see a couple times a year 📸 love offering one off content shoots.

New helmet, as I was fed up of borrowing them from clients ⛑️

Shoots in London are always fun 🤩 this particular one was in the South East!

And lastly, promoting our pop up event with Events by Ellie - can’t wait for it this Sunday! 👏🏻 at the one & only The Wheatsheaf Romford 📍

ALSO 🫨 in this day and age, social media is such a normal thing for businesses to take seriously.

Posting consistently creates opportunities. It opens doors for businesses, creators AND the people behind them.

And those opportunities can = more 💸

That’s not just the case for social media managers. It applies to pretty much any industry.

I definitely don’t think as many people cringe at social media anymore…

But if you’re still cringing at filming videos for your business in 2026, you might need to grow up a little 🤣

People are watching. People are buying. Opportunities are coming from it.

You can cringe… or you can join the rest of us, no matter how many followers you have.

Don’t really need to write much when you get a video like this!

This weekend I travelled to Exeter to deliver an away workshop for UK Metals, a family-run metal recycling business.

Two days of teaching, filming, strategy and sharing everything I know with absolutely no gatekeeping.

Very grateful to be chosen from across the country to come in and work with the team & VERY grateful for this testimonial.

Essex based, definitely not Essex limited 🏃🏼‍♂️

Sitting on the train home after what feels like such a fun & productive couple of days.

I’ve been in Exeter delivering an in-person social media and marketing workshop for a really unique, family-run metal recycling business, working with a father and son to show them how they can use social media and other marketing streams to grow the business themselves.

When this enquiry first came in, I remember thinking, ‘Oh, that would be a good one.’

But it was SO good! 😊

Over the two days we covered filming, editing, finding content inspiration, different filming techniques, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, email marketing, lead generation and plenty more.

And absolutely no gatekeeping.

I wanted them to come away actually knowing how to do it - not just with a list of things they should be doing👀

Social media management is our bread and butter at 71 Club. It’s our strength and where the majority of our work sits.

But these projects in between, where we get to teach, train, travel and really get stuck into another business, are always so fun and rewarding.

The best bit is that whilst I was away, the team were on other content shoots & working on other projects💪🏼

And on a personal level, it’s pretty crazy.

I started this business in little old Romford, and now it’s taking me on solo & team work trips across the country, working with businesses I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.

It’s becoming pretty clear…

We’re definitely not just an Essex-based social media agency anymore!

We’re on the move.
