🌟 Welcome to Feria Trading! 🌟 If you’ve received one of our Feria Trading Cards at an event—hello and lovely to see you here. And if you’ve found us another way, we’re thrilled you’re here!

This space is just beginning, so you might not see many posts yet. But as more stallholders and organisers come aboard, the vision behind Feria Trading will come to life.

🎪 Why Feria Trading? Because without organisers, there are no events. Without events, there are no stalls. Without stalls, there’s nothing to organise. We’re all vital cogs in a shared wheel—and sometimes, one side doesn’t quite understand the other.

Yes, there are poor organisers and poor stallholders. But there are fantastic ones too. By connecting here, we can learn from each other, improve together, and make events better for everyone.

🛠️ This platform is built for YOU. We need to hear about the good organisers—so we can join their events. We need to hear about the bad ones—so we can avoid them. Feria Trading will grow and benefit you, but only if you get involved.

🌱 A heartfelt welcome to our very first Feria Trading member Daisy Botha of Vegan Fairs.

If you're a trader offering vegan products, these events come highly recommended. They're not only fantastic for traders, but also for vegans and the vegan-curious. We at 14 Gifts have traded at several Vegan Fairs ourselves and can vouch for how well-organised and welcoming they are.

Sadly, some organisers simply take the fee and disappear—but Vegan Fairs is different. Our first outdoor event after leaving our shop was with them, and we were met with genuine support and kindness. They make a point of greeting every trader and truly care about the community they are building.

We’re absolutely delighted to have Vegan Fairs as part of Feria Trading. Thank you for joining us, Daisy!

We completely understand hesitation: “Let’s see how it goes.” “I’ll wait and watch.” “Is it really worth it?”

Because sometimes, your voice is what moves everything forward.

If you are an event organiser and, if you do not want to join up to have a listing, you can advertise single events for £5 per event. Please contact us if this is what you like to do. Please note this only lists your event, this does not give access to the Facebook groups, though we will happily list your event so traders can find you.

Your event will also be posted on our Feria Trading page.

If you are a trader wanting to be listed then this is what happens -

1. Contact us!

2. We will tell you what we need from you, (you do not have to provide all of this but it is better to, so that organisers can find you, find how long you wanted to be listed for and then take payment.

3. We will then work on your listing.

We would like up to 10 words that an organiser may search for when looking for an event. Our search facility will facilitate that.

Stall name, what you sell, contact details, a description up to 25 words and if you would like a photograph, this can be yourself, your stall, or a product you sell for example. This is your listing so it can be anything you like.

3. We list you on our site and inform you when it is done, if you are not happy with it, we can work at it until we get it right. We can edit your listing once a month if you would like to update it with new products or more information. Organisers will be able to see you and unlike a Facebook post, you will not disappear with time.

4. We will do a post on this page welcoming you as a member and we may also change our banners to show members to give you exposure.

5. We have three Facebook groups and members who are listed will be able to join two of the groups, these will be for organisers and traders, as the traders only group.

Hello Everyone, to introduce ourselves, we are George and Lizzie. You may have read our website https://www.feriatrading.org.uk/
but if you haven't please take a look.

The first thing we naturally do when joining anything like this is look to see how many members there are, and then see how they are getting on! Well at this time there is none, or very few. Someone has to be the first in anything. There is always a starting point and just maybe this starts with you, one of our first members.

The biggest listings started with their first members. The more people join us the better it will become. The more our exposure grows, the more yours will too.

When anyone is first listed as a trader or organiser, they will be featured on our page. We will also regularly change the banner on our groups to feature members. We hope you will share this page with others so that they can join in as well.
