“Who is a good web designer near me?”

That difference matters for SEO.

🤝 Great design starts with great relationships

One of the things I’m most proud of at D-S-Design Studio isn’t a website, logo, or award.

It’s the relationships I’ve built with clients over the years.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with businesses across a wide range of industries, from hospitality, therapists, and charities to artists, photographers, trades, retailers, and professional services. Every business is different, which is one of the reasons I enjoy what I do so much.

Some projects last a few weeks, while others develop into long-term partnerships. In fact, my longest client relationship has recently reached four years, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

For me, a project doesn’t end when a website launches or a logo is delivered. I enjoy continuing to support businesses as they grow, evolve, and take on new opportunities.

Thank you to every client who has trusted me with their business, whether we’ve worked together for four years or four weeks. Your support means more than you know.

🚀 35+ businesses supported… and I’m only just getting started

Looking back, it’s incredible to think that D-S-Design Studio has now worked with over 35 businesses, organisations, charities, and creatives.

From website design and branding to print, social media, SEO, and ongoing support, every project has been different, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about what I do.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists, therapists, hospitality businesses, photographers, retailers, tradespeople, charities, community groups, and growing companies, helping them build a stronger and more professional presence.

What I’m most proud of isn’t the number itself.

It’s the relationships I’ve built along the way. Some clients have been with me for years, and seeing their businesses grow while continuing to support them is incredibly rewarding.

There are some exciting projects currently underway, with new websites, branding projects, and redesigns still to come.

I’m really pleased to share that Artica Therapeutics have now officially agreed to move forward with a full website redesign.

After initially supporting and updating the existing platform, the project will now move into a complete redesign focused on creating a more refined, modern, and scalable online presence for the company.

The new website will focus on:

💻 A refreshed visual direction
🧭 Improved user experience and navigation
⚙️ Better content structure and CMS organisation
📱 Responsive performance across all devices
🔍 Continued SEO improvements behind the scenes

A logo isn’t just designed for a website or business card. It needs to work wherever a brand appears.

Whether it’s embroidered onto clothing, printed on packaging, displayed on signage, or featured on promotional products, good logo design should remain clear, recognisable, and professional across a wide range of applications.

When designing a logo, I always consider things like:

🖨️ Print and embroidery compatibility

📏 How long should a website be?

One question that comes up quite often is whether a website should be short and simple or packed with lots of information.

The answer is: it depends on the business.

A website should be long enough to answer your visitors’ questions, explain your services, build trust, and encourage people to take the next step. At the same time, it shouldn’t include content just for the sake of making pages longer.

A good website focuses on:

🧭 Clear structure and navigation
💬 Helpful and relevant information
📱 Easy reading on mobile devices
🎯 Guiding visitors towards an enquiry or action

Some businesses need a simple one-page website, while others benefit from multiple pages, detailed service information, blogs, portfolios, or case studies.

The goal isn’t to create the longest website possible. It’s to create a website that gives visitors the information they need in the clearest and most effective way.
