Imagine paying for a dating app because you believe it will help you find your perfect match. Now imagine discovering that some of the people the app considered your most compatible matches were only accessible if you paid even more.
That’s the allegation at the heart of a new proposed class action lawsuit against Match.com in the United States.
The claim alleges that Match.com promoted a feature highlighting users’ “most compatible” matches without making it clear that many of those connections remained locked behind additional paid features.
