2023 was not an easy year. I'm so thankful that I was able to launch my colour and style consulting business and through it, I met so many amazing people. But for personal reasons, I couldn't dedicate myself to it as much as I wanted. And I felt very frustrated at times and there were a lot of tears, but I decided to take things slowly for the sake of my mental health and my family.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way and has been patient with me. I'm so sorry I could not give my best to you all. I appreciate your understanding.

And also with everything that is going on in the world, I just don't feel like celebrating anything and the sounds of fireworks right now as I write this is just a horrible reminder of all of it. My heart is aching with so much suffering but that is nothing compared to what the victims are feeling and going through.

I hope 2024 can be a better, kinder and easier year for all of us. Happy New Year! ✨️🌈 🇵🇸

Colour specialist Pantone announced 'Peach Fuzz' as the colour of the year 2024, reflecting the global trends and the spirit of the time.

WGSN is a trend forecasting company that along with Coloro does the same thing but usually 2 years in advance. This time their choices were pretty similar. Apricot Crush is just a darker version of Peach Fuzz.

Both of the colours are cosy, warm and welcoming, showing our collective desire for balance and connection.

Perfect for those with a warm skin undertone (Autumn and Spring seasons).

Beyond fashion, these colours can be beautiful in decoration. And if you have a creative personality and style, this will be great on your hair too.

So, what are your thoughts? 🍑🍑🍑

Here is the power of colour analysis. For me, dark and cool are the most important characteristics that I need to look for when choosing my colours, not only for my clothes but for my make-up, accessories and hair as well. That's why my colour palette is Deep Winter.

Colours that are too light like Light Summer, for example, are my worst colours. It doesn't do me any favour, it actually makes me look ill, pale, and tired and also makes me look and feel less confident.

On those days, when you're not feeling your best, maybe even a little down or depressed, wearing the right colours will make a tremendous difference to boost your mood.

Do you know your most flattering colours? Do you want to stop wasting money shopping for the wrong colours of clothes and make-up? Drop me a message and we can chat about it. 😉

Barbiecore is everywhere and the Barbie movie will launch tomorrow. But do you already know which shade of pink is your best?

Based on their distinct characteristics compared to our own's, like temperature, depth and intensity, every colour will have a shade that will enhance our beauty the most.

If you are Winter, you will look amazing with bold, darker and vibrant shades of pink.

If you are Spring, pink coral and bubblegum pink were made for you!

If you are Summer, you should opt for cooler and softer shades, like mauve, as well as pastel or n**e options.

If you are Autumn, a pink that leans towards orange, peach or salmon shades and earthy tones will be your best choice.

As you can see, the Spring and Autumn palettes have the least pinkish shades leaning more towards orange, red and brown. That is because people who are from these colour seasons have a warm skin undertone so they will look better with warmer shades. Whereas Summer and Winter palettes will look best with cooler shades.

If you still don't know your colour palette, book your colour analysis session with me and you will discover all the colours that suit you the best and your life will also be so much easier when shopping or choosing what to wear. Save money and time in your life! 😉 🥰

Up until the early part of the 20th century in Western culture, pink was seen as a masculine colour, a boyish version of red. Whereas blue was seen as feminine because of the supposed colour of the Virgin Mary's outfit.

This started to change slowly and by around the 1950s, along with a huge advertising campaign pushing pink as an exclusive feminine colour, and references like Barbie, Marilyn Monroe and the American first lady Mamie Eisenhower wearing it, the change came very quickly.

Today, we are free to choose any colour. But although women wear blue all the time, I still see some resistance from men to wear pink.

It's important to remember that this is the Western perspective. There are countries like Pakistan and India for example where is very common for men, especially boys to wear pink. And last year when I visited Pakistan, my son received some pink clothes, which surprised me in a good way, as that is yet not a common thing here in the West.

Did you know about this? What colour do you prefer, blue or pink? Or both? Let me know in the comments!

The same colour tone that looks amazing on someone else, may not look as good on us, or worse, make us look ill, older, too yellow or too greyish, with dark shadows on our face and so on. We are all unique individuals with different characteristics.

Wearing colours that have the same characteristics as our own, like contrast, depth, intensity and temperature, helps to accentuate our best features and enhance our overall image. ♡

A little hair change for me and my son (second photo), both by accident but it turned out alright. Great for summer and this hot weather that we are having here these days 😅. So, for him, he is just too scared of cutting his hair and wouldn't stop moving, and the barber ended up cutting too much on the top by accident and had to finish the job. And for me, I was the one solely responsible for that, as I decided to cut it by myself. I'm used to that and I was going to cut just a tiny little bit, but then I realised that one side was much shorter and that's my friend the reason you should go to a professional hairdresser 😂. But in the end, I kinda liked the result. What do you think?

My mood is always better when the sun is out 🌞. Today I chose to wear neutrals with a pop of yellow on my earrings matching my son's bodysuit and the sun 🌞😅. How is the weather where you are?

The answer is yes and no. It depends on many factors.

》What message do you want to communicate with your image?
》Do you want a dramatic style or something more in harmony with your natural features?

If you want a dramatic style, you can choose any colour you want for your hair, and it's usually the total opposite of your natural hair colour to create drama. That is a common choice for actresses and models for example for a specific work, or singers, to create a persona. But that usually requires the use of a lot of make-up to compensate for the lack of harmony. A lot of hair care and visits to the hairdresser as well to keep that style.

If you don't want to bother with all that and prefer a low-maintenance style, I always recommend keeping your natural hair colour or choosing something that is still in harmony with your natural features. In colour analysis we work with harmony, we will find which colours make your appearance stand out.

Contrast is a very important part of colour analysis but is often not included. With the Studio Immagine method, I will also analyse your personal contrast, that is the difference between the lights and darks of our beauty (hair colour, skin and eyes). And along with your temperature (warm or cool), I will be able to give your the best tones for your hair (if you want to change it) and make-up that will work the best with your personal complexion.

The actress and singer Zooey Deschanel have a high contrast, for example, because her natural hair is dark and she has very light skin. Last week she shared a photo with her hair all blonde for a work she is doing. She is beautiful in both photos of course but which one do you think suits her the best?

If you want to change your hair colour but want to find out which tones suit you more, leave me a message in my inbox. ♡
