I honestly can’t believe I’m typing this…

A few weeks ago, I was nominated for the Somerset Future 30 Awards; an initiative run by the Somerset Chamber of Commerce to recognise young professionals making an impact across business and innovation.

Today, I opened my inbox to find out I’VE WON! 🥹

I am honestly in shock.

Who knew a girl with a camera and a passion for content could end up being recognised as one of the county’s future leaders?

So much of this journey stems from my work promoting Somerstock. The incredible team behind the scenes works year-round to pull off a festival that brings people together, raises money for local charities, and gives back to the tiny town I’ve lived in my whole life. Using digital content to give back to my home community has been the absolute highlight of my career so far and I hope to be a position to offer the same opportunities to other young professionals one day.

Thank you to the judges, the Somerset Chamber, the Somerstock team, and everyone who has backed me along the way.

And a MASSIVE congratulations to everyone else who has been selected from across the county! 👏👏

Google has officially combined SEO and Social Media!

Yep, one of the best free marketing tools just got better and it’s solidified the importance of a link between your social media and seo efforts.

What a night ✨

Such an incredible evening celebrating 10 years of

I wore this dress to my first awards event 3 years ago. 3 years later and I’m wearing it to my first awards event… as a nominee 🥹

Words can’t expresshow grateful I am for my apprenticeship experience; being nominated as an Apprenticeship Ambassador means the world.

It’s opened so many doors for me and allowed me to build a career that I am truly proud of which includes giving me the confidence to run my own company!

The stigma that still surrounds apprenticeships baffles me as its just an opportunity for people to get into their chosen careers and excel with passion and dedication.

I hope to be at a point where I am able to take on apprentices one day and provide the same opportunity to another driven individual.

A massive congratulations to everyone that was there and to Carina Wills for having the foresight to pave the way for modern apprenticeships with purpose, congratulations on 10 years!! 👏👏
